Is LaRussa the one that looks like he's about to start foaming at the mouth?
Yes, he is. He looks like Lucifer. I hate him so much I can't even bring myself to link to a picture

Ah lemon cake!
Had a lovely weekend, took ds to his football match and they won! He is the goalie and he was cheered like the next Buffon
. Then we went to Switzerland with friends, this morning went for a long walk in the snow. There is lots of snow!!!!

Franca-how fab to be able to say I went to Switzerland just like that. i do envy you your proximity to the rest of Europe. And bravo DS!
I went to see The Kings Speech this weekend-loved it.
Gio, yes, the place we went to is only about 140 km away from Milan, which is really doable.
Dd stayed with my parents, as she is very tired at the moment, and she could do with an early night and lots of tv
.
I so want to see the King's speech, but I really would like to watch it in English, but I think it's already gone and I missed it (here in Milan they show a movie once a week in original language)
Have you seen the Oscars? So pleased for Colin Firth, I do have a soft spot for him. I watch A single Man a few weeks ago, the movie was a bit boh, but he was great in it.
Mind you, you are pretty close to amazing places like Ponza, Capri or Tuscany!!!

will be happy when I have everything unpacked sorted - shelves up , Ikea coat hooks and rack - bought and up. The shelf put up in the wardrobe. Various racks and holders up. Ripostiglio sorted. Washing line put up. And to top it off looks as if we have inflitration in a small roof we have over the bathroom as have seen 3 spots of mould ( after yesterdays rain). Plus Dh seems to have lost his ummmpphh to do things ( plus he has other work things on his mind)and with both dds round its bloody hard. I have about another 5 boxes plus one case to do no chance of doing anything today as minirosa really is not 100% .
I think you are doing very well. Especially having fitted the ripostiglio, that's vital!
Ciao, is there anyone based in North Wales/Wirral area? I am from an Italo/English family, my first language is English. I never learned Italian until I was in my teens and I don't talk Italian very often. I have 3 little bambinos who I have neglected to teach Italian. Are there any groups out there?

Hi Pleiades45, no one on this thread is down that way, you could try posting in the language/bilingualism topic maybe, good luck!
Hi Pleiades, no, I don't know any Italian living in Wales as well. I second Sputnik's suggestion to post on the bilingualism threads and also get dvds in Italian!
