Jul 14: mc@8w4d (measured 5w)
Oct 14: mmc@8w1d (after hb seen@7w1d)

No result from testing on embryo for mc3
All rmc testing and karyotyping on us normal.
Tested high for uNK at Coventry (7.9%)
Currently 7w0d pg on steroids, heparin and progesterone. Scan last week showed hb and measuring 6+1 (i thought 6+2, but I'll take it), scanxiety rising for second scan this thursday as the next two are my biggies in terms of danger points. Feeling very bleurgh although avoided actually throwing up yet, just almost constant nausea.

My stats

Me 40 (ouch, just had a birthday); DH 42
2006: DD1, 6 months to conceive, pretty normal pregnancy (high BP (me!) and emcs but otherwise fine). Started ttc before she was one but nada.
April 2008: Ectopic 1 (treated medically, right tube)
July 2008: MC1 - very early (before 5 weeks)
September 2008: Ectopic 2 - surgery, right tube removed
October 2009: DD2 (hurrah), totally uneventful pregnancy but emcs at the end. Started ttc a few months later and nada again
December 2012: MMC @ 9ish weeks, ERPC
December 2013 : tests show good hormones, AFC etc and a normal uterus, but nothing happened, so by about Sept 2014 we gave up on the project.
April 2015: MMC @ 9ish weeks (Trisomy 13), ERPC. This pg was an accident (sod's law) but reopened discussions on the baby subject.

Tests show heterozygous MTHFR (have I spelled that right?) which has no implications apparently, and elevated TEG values so if I ever conceive again I have to have baby aspirin.

Now ttc in earnest, although God only knows how long it might take. We hit the timing bang on this cycle and I am being very good (no drinking etc). DH less so (he went out boozing the night before the crucial sex) so fingers crossed. Also taking omega 3, over priced multivitamins, vit D3 spray, co enzyme Q10 and some extra methyl-folate. Low carb diet (tedious, but trying to take my holiday weight off). I feel pretty good but rattle when I walk.

I've not been around much, as ttc can get a bit all-consuming, so I need to stay away in order to not lose perspective (or my mind) but I do lurk every so often. Thrilled to see so many pregnancies going well. Long may it continue!

Trying to catch up from memory from last thread..

patience I am so so sorry to hear your news. Just heartbreaking. I hope you are being well looked after. Do try not to feel too defeated by age - so many of us are older, including those who have successfully had their rainbow babies.

adamsmummy so sorry to hear of your losses. As I have heard many a consultant say, the only way to get there is to keep trying. Only you know when it's enough. So so hard though.

mrsb It is horribly difficult getting results. 2 of my 5 losses were chromosomally normal - one died at 8 plus 6 after a hb was seen, and the other was a tfmr at 13 wks after abnormalities were found. No known cause of the abnormalities. For you I know everything had looked normal? so understand its not quite the same. I was desperate to have a reason, and quite distraught that there apparently wasn't one. My heart goes out to you, its such alot to take onboard. Can you take some time off work now before your AL?

St.Mary's rmc said as not all the chromosomes are looked at when they do karyotyping on the embryo/baby, a random abnormality could still be the cause. At the clinic in Coventry, they said its not normal to have 3,4,5 etc losses in a row. I believed the random bad luck up until my 4th (3rd was T22) at which point I finally went to Coventry to get a different perspective. I guess what I am saying is that it still can be a case of random bad luck for you, but it may be worth trying to get some initial investigations too. Hope you are doing ok and getting through the day at work.

brummie great your cervix is doing well!

bumble that's brilliant news!

barking your family sound like strong individuals. The festival sounds like a definite distraction! Hoping and praying that the thread starting has worked it's magic for you!

flen grr to the spotting. Hand holding for Thursday, and hope you are bearing up with the hideous sickness.

Sorry to those not mentioned, bound to have left out loads x

Checking in - we went to Camp Bestival over the weekend and have totally lost touch with the thread - will try to catch up later. Faith had a fab time and has had a little leap forward in development which is fab, she can now transition to sitting, pull up onto her knees and pull up onto her feet, plus stepping when you hold her hands. Not sure if it is the Snowdrop program or just time off steroids making the difference, but I don't really care!

Me, 40, 2 sons and 4MC all at 9-10 weeks, eventually got a high NK cells diagnosis from Coventry and had Faith, now 14m old, on their progesterone, heparin and steroids protocol. She has infantile spasms, a form of epilepsy.

Still have not heard from consultant, so I've made a GP appointment for next week and written a list of bloods I want them to do. Hopefully I'll have some back up from.the hospital by then, if not I will just cry.
If the results don't show anything we'll save and go to Coventry.

Thank you to all for your advice, it's made me more determined to ask questions and push for further tests. "bad luck" or not, it's still completely shit and I think I deserve to know more.

Work is ok, I may have to have a meeting with HR as my absences have more than likely triggered a concern, but I'm not worried.
Applying for some annual leave in September at least I'll have that to look forward to.

Hi all, thanks for the new thread barking, am bloody impressed you did it on your phone.

EPU has moved my scan to tomorrow afternoon due to the spotting which is great. I saw the GP today who was lovely but basically said "hang on in there". She also took my blood pressure which is apparently ridiculously low, which maybe accounts for some of feeling so rubbish.

My stats:
Me 36, OH 35, no dc. Ttc for almost 2 years.
Mc1 dec 2007, mmc found at 13 weeks (previous relationship)
Mc2 apr 2014, natural MC at 11.5 weeks
Mc3 oct 2014, mmc found at 9.5 weeks.
All tests are clear, unk cells clear. Am on progesterone and heparin this time round, have experienced bleeding/spotting since 6 weeks but also had three good scans. Another scan tomorrow...

baking I may not refer to faith these days but I think of you guys often. Lovely to hear she is starting to stand, and tbat the snowdrop programme seems to be helping.

mrsb I didn't intend to trivialise your losses as 'bad luck' - it is of course horrendous and hearbreakingly bad luck, if they were just random events. It sounds like you have a good plan to approach the gp. I was worried about tbe money for Coventry too - but its reassuring that its a one off payment, and they will see you more than once.

longest I have never got to the scottish islands for a holiday, but always thought it sounded lovely, rain and all. Bit of a late response I know....

How are you doing today patience? Thanks

Mrsb keep plodding through you'll get out the other side again Thanks.

Thanks for the updated stats March, I failed from my phone!!

My stats:
ttc #1 since December 2011
summer 2013 clomid bfp then mc @7 weeks
summer 2014 iui bfp then mc @ 6/7 weeks
Failed iui cycle January 2015.
Failed ivf cycle May 2015
rmc diagnosed factor V leiden thrombophilia. nk cells 'normal'
Scans/blood tests/biopsy show I grow follicles at a normal rate but don't ovulate until much later, and then post ovulation the hormone levels in my womb lag a few days behind, then AF arrives by 8dpo. Not exactly conducive to conception..

Currently 10dpo in a frozen embryo replacement cycle. Went from 2 healthy embryos in the freezer to the first one perishing and the second one coming out of the freezer damaged. Dodgy one currently on the inside. Been injecting fragmin daily nasty little fuckers and shoving ustrogen up 3 times a day since it went in. Official test date Saturday. Confused
