Information, support, hand holding, tea, sympathy and a hell of a lot of combined knowledge - all welcome as we try to make sense of the RMC roller coaster of tests, NHS admin, heart ache and (hopefully) happy endings!
Please start with a recap of your stats :)

Hello. I'm very sadly a newbie to this group.
I'm 35. TTC first child.
MMC at 12 weeks Nov 2013
Natural MC at 7 weeks July 2014
MC (D&C) at 9 weeks Nov 2014
I've looked at this thread before but find it hard to keep up with you chatty lot!
I'm still in the midst of recent MC sadness, and have had the Response clinical trial mentioned by EPU nurse, so think I'll take part in that when I pick up the courage to ttc again, prob in Jan/feb.

Catlover2014 · 29/11/2014 18:18

Welcome size so sorry you find yourself here and you've suffered those losses. Everyone on here is very kind and wise and will help you to keep going. There have been lots of happy outcomes on here so do hang in there. Better times are coming xxx

Floweroct · 29/11/2014 18:19

Just marking place, sizethree sorry you're here.

My stats:

34, dh35, no dc
1st mc: dec 2012 mmc 11 weeks but measured 6w after 14 months ttc
2nd mc: march 2014 6 weeks after iui
3rd mc: nov 2014 10 weeks measured 7 weeks

Marchgirl · 29/11/2014 18:21

Is first post lucky? !
Me 37 dh 44
DD bn aug 12. Straightforward pregnancy
MMC 1 Jan 14 at 12 wks (measured 6)
Natural MC 2 Jul 14 at 8.5wks (measured 5)
MMC 3 Oct 14 at 8.5wks after hb seen at 7.
Medical management for 1 and 3.
Foetus sent for testing but couldn't be tested. Bloods taken at rmc and awaiting results in a week or two.
About to start TTC again once results are back and absolutely terrified! However, very encouraged by the (11 ish?) pregnancies on this board. Smile

Marchgirl · 29/11/2014 18:23

Obviously takes me too long to type as I'm not even close to first post!

longestlurkerever · 29/11/2014 18:26

Hello size. Sorry to hear about your losses. Are you being referred to an rmc?

Here are my stats:

Age 34, 1 dc born aug 11
Ttc dc2 since March 2013.
1 chm pg aug 2013, 1mmc jan 2014, 1mc june 2014. Tests at st Mary's came back clear apart from pcos diagnosis. Now 14 weeks pregnant. Took agnus castus between last mc and bfp and progesterone and 1200microg folic acid prescribed at 8 weeks but stopped taking last week.

Catlover2014 · 29/11/2014 18:26

Me 34, DH 35. Currently 9 weeks pregnant and terrified.

TTC DC#1 since 2009. 4 years of unexplained fertility with my CCG refusing to help me. Tried many medications and have spent over £10k on tests, operations and drugs so far.

In June 2013 NHS IVF referral followed by suspected polyp being spotted and me having to pay for an operation to speed things up. No polyp found but consultant recommended medication that has enabled me to conceive.

MC#1 - January 2014 at 9 weeks, detected empty sac on scan.

MC#2 - April 2014 at 11 weeks. 6 week scan fine but bit small. No repeat scans offered on NHS where I live. Lost baby at 11 weeks, they said he/she died at about 8 weeks.

Currently taking 400mg cyclogest 3 times each day plus mini aspirin, inofolic and 5mg folic acid once daily. 5,6,7 and 8 week scans at private hospital have all looked hopeful. Next scan on Wednesday.

bakingtins · 29/11/2014 18:26

Marking place. Can't believe we need a new thread already, the last one lasted less than a month. All chatting henceforth is strictly rationed Grin

My stats - 4 MC all at 8-10 weeks, first in 2009 then 3 between Sept 2012-June 2013. NHS tests normal, high NK cells diagnosed in Coventry, successful pregnancy on treatment and DD born May 2014.

welcome sizethree and sorry you've had such a shitty year. I hope you are now being referred for tests, it's worth ruling treatable causes out irrespective of whether you then decide to participate in the trial.

charlieis30 · 29/11/2014 18:28

Me 31, DH early 40s
TTC since Oct 2013, first child
[email protected], Feb '14
MC2@10w (ERPC), Aug '14
Currently preg again due end July '15
Just so tired & scared right now, emergency scan scheduled at epu tomorrow following pains overnight last night.

Marchgirl · 29/11/2014 18:54

Sorry you've been having pains Charlie. Keeping fingers crossed for you tomorrow and for Wednesday cat
Welcome size. Sorry to hear you've had such an awful year. Here's to a happy and successful 2015. Hope you have been referred to rmc now. Such a limbo between 2 and 3 but now you officially 'qualify'.

Justonemoretime · 29/11/2014 19:06

Here's mine:
3x mmcs, #1 and #2 at 6 and a half weeks, both discovered on scans following spotting. This was Nov '11 and May '12. Then some local tests, all clear. Prescribed 400mg progesterone from bfp and baby aspirin 'just in case', investigations for thin lining following repeat ERPCs and complications from MMC#2.
Then conceived #3 and got past danger point, saw a good scan at 9.1 weeks only to discover mmc#3 at routine 13 week scan. Turned out baby had Turner Syndrome after genetic testing. That was June '13.
RMC testing at St Mary's, London all clear, but uterine septum removed October '13.
After no joy for 3 months, went for NK testing at Coventry, all normal there, too, well, thin lining and 'lower end of normal', but normal NK cells.
Took another 7 months to conceive again and now I'm on 400mg progesterone twice daily (from bfp) and daily heparin injections which I started at 5.5 weeks after 'location' scan. I'm now coming up to 10 weeks (on Monday), and my last scan was at 8.3, so I'm clinging on to the hope that things are still progressing, but I have many moments of fear and doubt on a daily basis. My next scan will be 9th Dec when I will be just about 11 weeks. Everything is crossed, everything smells and my hobbies now include eating and taking naps...
Welcome Size, sorry you need us, but hope we can help with advice and support when you're ready.

girliesaints · 29/11/2014 22:09

Welcome size. Sorry to hear your losses

Charlie- hope pains have settled down and scan tomorrow is ok.

My story;

1 DH Jan 2011. Conceived first attempt and straight forward pregnancy. If only I knew I was so lucky!!

Ttc since Jan 2014.
Suspected early miscarriage at 5 weeks Feb 2014
2nd MMc at 9 weeks measured 6 weeks.
3rd Natural Mc at 11 weeks. Sac Measured 6 weeks. Had early scan at 6 weeks and heart beat seen then.

Currently awaiting consultant appointment in January as EPU didn't count the first MC (!) however sympathetic GP has now referred me. As my GP said I don't have a problem conceiving, just staying pregnant .

Purplefrogshoes · 29/11/2014 22:32

38 2 X mmc 1 X molar pregnancy
All nhs tests were normal, 16 weeks pregnant today and terrified

mrsdiddlydoo · 30/11/2014 00:34

Welcome size sorry you find your self here.
Tanny love the photo. Most beautiful baby clothes I think I've ever seen! Love it.

Still lurking. Still struggling with loss no 2 this year. Feel so lucky and shitty at same time.

mrsdiddlydoo · 30/11/2014 00:36

Hope scan goes OK today Charlie

barkingtreefrog · 30/11/2014 00:38

This is another lucky thread, right? Grin
ttc #1 since Dec 2011.
Clomid pg August 2013 - mc at 7 weeks
IUI pg June 2014 - mc at 6.5 weeks

Referred to rmc given fertility problems and few chances left. Diagnosed with factor V leiden thrombophilia. Next iui hopefully January.

tannyLoo · 30/11/2014 05:22

Me:42, DH:44

DS1 born in 1999 (15 in a fortnight!) Uncomplicated pregnancy, previous relationship
DS2 born in 2012 (2 yrs 8 months)
MC 1 Dec 2012 - 6 weeks, natural MC
MMC 2 Apr 2013 -11 weeks but measured 6, natural but horrific haemorrhage
MC 3 Oct 2013 - 6 weeks, natural MC, but not much bleeding. Referred for RMC testing but in the meantime got pregnant again.
MC 4 Dec 2013 - 6 weeeks, natural MC but was suspected ectopic. Empty sac finally appeared just before MC started. Thin endometrium seen on scan.
Blood tests and scan all came back normal (lining still on thin side) and healthy. Diagnosed as "super fertile" ( no shit!) and told to keep on trying, as one might stick.
MC 5 Feb 2014 - 6 weeks, natural MC, low bleeding. Was prescribed progesterone and clexane from 5 weeks, but sac was already empty and irregular shape.

After all that, I had a proper melt down and spent days in bed watching reruns of Star Trek. I was signed off long term sick, had fortnightly acupuncture and a massive list of quack medicines to help my lining develop. Went to Coventry in May, following genetic tests, and was pregnant before my NK cell results were back. Was treated with progesterone, clexane and prednisolone as a precaution. Tests came back normal, and am currently very nearly 27 weeks with a health, wriggling bubs.

tannyLoo · 30/11/2014 05:28

Sorry that was shamelessly cut and pasted from the last thread, and my eldest has now turned 15. Amazing how quickly we got through that last one!

Thanks for your sweet comments about the babygros, you lovely lot!

Currently on a recliner in my MIL's living room after a few of the most uncomfortable hours of my life in a too small bed with a snoring huge man and a snuffling toddler. God I want my own bed!

bakingtins · 30/11/2014 07:31

Good luck charlie

Reading all your posts, I realise how much we've all been through and it makes me feel so sad. Women who have their children easily have no idea the suffering we have to go through. You ladies are amazing. XxX
