Week 9 - Pre-summer Low Carb Bootcamp - our last two weeks!

Morning all!

Not a good day for me. Have had a horrible night's sleep (i.e. hardly any) because I have a really nasty cold, which is making breathing difficult.

Have a full-on day at work to look forward to as well, which is nice.

Anyway, here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you all

Just two more weeks to go, so let's keep this last fortnight a strict one.

I've stayed the same this week. We've been away and I have cheated so my own fault. Onwards and downwards for the next two weeks.

I've lost 3lbs. I started th week having a cheat day and overdoing protein but the next three days did an egg fast and exercised. Glad it worked!

Looking more toned and a skirt which was a bit snug before is hanging looser.

Morning all.

I'm 2 lbs down this week, 23 overall. Happy it is still going in the right direction! I really want to lose the next 5 lbs to the 2 stone mark in these last two weeks, so will be redoubling my efforts.

Happy weighing, and fingers crossed for losses.

I'm not weighing in today, came on over the weekend so feeling bloated and huge. Was also a bit of a sugary twat yesterday so have some strict days ahead!

A good week for me after gaining for 2 weeks. Just need to stay focused and hopefully I can shift a bit more before holiday next month.

177.2 - up 4lbs which is less than I thought, so I'm oddly happy. Am on as well which won't have helped.

Firmly on the wagon for this last fortnight. Posting my food really helped early on so I'm going back to that:

B -full fat Greek yoghurt and 6 strawberries with gingerbread green tea ( I've gone from near retching at it to mainlining it)

L: halloumi and avocado salad, chicken drumsticks with skin, home made salad dressing with garlic olive oil.

T: White fish with butter, asparagus and broccoli. Probably a couple of coconut oil fat bombs too.

My weight is STILL unchanged. 5 weeks of it now!! Frustrating, but keeping the faith (just).

I've had the cold too from last Monday and still coughing like a trooper on 60 a day abd feeling very weary. Not helped by long days in the office last week and this week.

Roll on Sunday when we go on holiday

Have just lost half a pound this week. Not surprised. 2 nights of drinking and one set menu dinner that was carby. So I'm pleased there's at least some kind of loss

Aiming for a very strict week this week. Lots of things are definitely easier now. I think I'm less hungry overall

Eating Greek yoga and berries as a post lunch dessert and the m and s low carb ready meals. Courgetti and steak bolognaise for lunch. Dinner chicken and lots of veg. Snacks babybel and 10 hazelnuts

KOKO everyone. We can do this.

Morning all! Poor BIWI, I hope you're feeling better very soon and manage to get a better night's sleep tonight!

Still away on holiday with no scales so I've updated the spreadsheet with the same weight as last week as a place market. Clothes seem to be increasingly fitting better so hopefully that bodes well for what the scales will say in a week's time!

I totally agree about the gingerbread tea Flisspaps. That along with halloumi and celeriac (in all its forms) are the bc discoveries which will now be essential eating/drinking permanently for me. Also bought some lemon and ginger herb tea which is nice (only drank builders tea and the occasional mint before bc)

The scales were very kind to me today. 200 which is three pounds down. That is my first stone gone and dropping down to the hundreds my next goal.
Could someone add me please

Sorry to all those who are unwell, I've got a sore throat myself and am working from home: normally I eat more when I do this so going to have to be very careful.

I'm in at 165.1, technically a loss on last week, which I suppose is good given the prosecco/martini/red wine/tequila disaster that was Friday night. But I'm still up from seeming to have settled at 162 several weeks ago, which is a bit annoying. Hopefully Ubercamp will sort me out! Just had my eggs with no cheese or cream and I'm drinking a black coffee as we speak!

Lost 7lbs this week, but 5lb of that was gained the week before! So I am 2lb down on my lowest BC weight. Still good news!

Well done to everyone on their weigh-in today.

I've lost 2lbs! shock YaaaaaaaY!!! I'm so happy. Now 131lbs. Thank you everyone for advice, tips and support.

It has been long and slow and hard this time losing the baby weight, but I was getting fed up the other day thinking "I should have lost more weight by now, etc, why have I stalled, argh, it's never coming off and I might as well give up etc". Then when was looking at my weight chart on MFP I thought "You know I could have given up before I even started and I'd still be 160lbs."

But I didn't. And I'm not. They were hard pounds to get rid of, but I did it and damned if they're coming back. Keep it up everyone, the satisfaction is so much sweeter when it's hard.

Unless we have another baby. hmm

Please post meals, I need inspiration. [whispers] I think I might have overdone it on the tuna...

I am 2lbs off having lost 3 stone this bootcamp! What a difference! I am still really fat, but not as really fat grin I feel so much better, even though I still have a long way to go.

Lost a bit less this week than last week but I have been at home to visit so have been having quite a lot of berries, lingon mainly, which I think are the more carby berries, and I've had potatoes twice and also quite a bit of vodka.

So example meals, which whilst not perfect, I think have been not too bad

B: lingonberry, strawberry and blueberry and some cold meat and cucumber slices.
L: grilled, crispy pig fat (I forget what it's called in English blush ) with a creamy sauce, just cream, pepper, dill and mustard, with mushrooms and green beans
D: cold beetroot soup with extra cream and fermented herring and gherkin on the side.

Into the last push now, keep going everyone flowers

No sleep is the worst BIWI. Hope the day passes quickly .
Haven't exercised and should off this week but another lb off at 121 if that could please be added .
Aim was always 119 lb but I leave for my holiday on Thursday .
I'm going to really try but at the same time it's so difficult not to let loose. I'm a very emotional eater and a pig when drunk !

1.5lb down and that's with a splint on my poor sprained wrist which has got to be weighing at least a half a pound right? wink
