Morning all

<a class="break-all" href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Vwh_9-y9ejMjg_sFMCK38uoPqZZFps39T7RY-VdUaI8/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=0docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Vwh_9-y9ejMjg_sFMCK38uoPqZZFps39T7RY-VdUaI8/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=0" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank"> Spreadsheet of Fabulousness is here

No point me weighing in today as the weekend has been lovely shocking. My official weighing-in day is Friday, so hopefully all will be back to normal by then!

Those of you for whom the scales have slowed/stopped, in weeks 3 and 4, hopefully things will get moving again now.

I'm off to Leeds with work for a couple of days, so who knows what I'll be eating? I have, though, packed some boiled eggs, a pot of Total yoghurt and a couple of sachets of tuna in my little cool box, so I know that I have something to eat if the choices available to me aren't low carb.

Good luck all, and hope this is a good week for all of us

Morning. Like others, I had a lovely weekend and am starting today as Day 1 of BC. Hopefully right this time. I caved and had a naan bread last night. I loved it. But that's all over now.

And as a result, I have a net weight loss of 0 in 6 weeks. Not recording weight today. Slightly pissed off that I've managed to do something wrong every week so far but I have no choice but to keep trying. Oddly though, my body shape has changed a bit - my face is thinner and i've lost some weight around/under my norks. So I don't know why the scales don't show it.

Good luck with the weigh in everyone. And good luck BIWI and others who have culinary challenges this week.

1lb off for me, hoping that means I've started to lose the weight cos it's all I've lost so far. I feel less bloated though which is brill.

Could someone enter that for me please? Think that makes me 128lb Hmm

Hello new thread. I'm trying to be extra strict this week.

1lb off this week, bit disappointed with that but have to remind myself that its about changing eating habits long-term and that it's not a quick fix. So, onwards and downwards!

Weigh in with 2.5 lb loss, so a total of 3lbs off, which should make me 195. Can someone post this for me, please?
My off piste Valentine's meal did not follow my normal pattern, which would be to go COMPLETELY overboard. Just had more carbs than I should have, but had no interest in pigging out. LC effect, I think.

Good morning. I too am starting afresh today, after a spectacularly non-lc couple of days and then (serve me right) food poisoning. Hmm I regret none of it however - it was our fourth wedding anniversary and we have been through hell and back in that time and wanted to celebrate the fact that we still actually like each other! Can't believe the food poisoning, it was a really great restaurant that we have been to quite a few times.

Coffee with cream this morning. Might pop into Tesco near work for a bit of brekkie. I have pork and salad for lunch with lots of mayo.

Morning another one here who is back to square one Blush

My day or two off piste turned into a week long binge! I have found it quite terrifying - the way the sugar got hold of me - feels like an addiction.

Day 1 here for me too - I WILL stick to the rules this time.

Dr Diva - sorry to hear about the food poisoning. You can get it from the classiest of joints though! I had horrible food poisoning from a Valentine's meal at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's restaurant a few years ago! A dodgy oyster, it turned out.

Can someone please add me to the spreadsheet at 131.0.

STS again, which is fine, since I had the weekend off (using up a Groupon burger, chips and beer voucher) and DH got me some Hotel Chocolat chocs for Valentine's Day which I ate all at once so I wouldn't be tempted today.

Mookbark · 15/02/2016 09:47

Morning all. I have also STS, which after my increase on the scales yesterday, I am fairly pleased about. My boobs are still like watermelons, so when they settle down, I reckon I've got a good 4lb loss there may be exaggerating slightly. If I don't have a whoosh later this week, I think I will be disappointed as I have been good.
Still amazed by the lack of appetite.
KOKO everyone and Flowers all round, losses or not.

I've added those who have requested it to the SoF.
Disco I think 76kg = 167.5 lbs, so that's what I logged.
Moan I've put 195 down for you, but just wanted to check as that doesn't give a 3lb loss as you said. Wanted to check it was correct? I can change it if it is wrong.

Away so can't weigh in but going off weigh in before we left I think it will be sTS so net loss of zero so far, will see what I can change when we get back, a bit disappointed really as apart from naan bread last week have stayed BC to BC lite, even no alcohol to interfere with fat burning.

I look and feel so much better than last year but impatient to shed the last 10-20 lbs now as still feel inbetween clothes size wise

It is all the more annoying to resist what others are having and still not get results, yesterday I turned down roasties, profiteroles, ice cream, biscuits and chocolate shame it is all for naught as yet, hope I will read this back next week and feel ungrateful after a good loss

KoKo everyone

2lb loss for me so tantalisingly close to a full stone since I started Smile (on 6 January). I'd love to lose one more pound (and break through into the 12 stone somethings....Wink) by Friday when I'm off skiing and as I'm staying in a catered chalet in France will no doubt go spectacularly off piste Blush

Yesterday wasn't too bad - didn't have time to eat much which probably compensated for the fact that there were a few carbs and alcohol Blush

Breakfast: bacon (while dh had a bacon roll) and pink bubbly in bed
Lunch: 3 Brazil nuts
Dinner: rack of lamb (with a herb crust) and a mix of broccoli, courgettes and French beans with butter
Dessert: Danish Christmas rice pudding (dh's favourite), so a wee bit of sugar and pudding rice but lots of cream and some chopped almonds to compensate.
....and a bottle of red wine between the two of us Wink

Flowers to everyone who's struggling atm I absolutely feel your pain - I was gutted last week when I stuck rigidly to the programme and still gained: but it has taught me that dairy is not my friend.

I've measured my hips and waist as we're a month in now: one inch off my hips and two off my waist - so that's better than a poke in the eye! This is my last "real" week of BC for a while, though- surgery next Monday, so weight will be all over the place for a while after that, especially as my mother is threatening to come and stay after Shock That women drives me to drink Grin - though that might not be a great idea with crutches.

Hang in there, everyone.

Re. everyone who's struggling - has anyone seen Felicity's last post on the previous thread? Felicity if you're still reading this, perhaps you could say what you HAVE eaten rather than what you have avoided, then someone wiser than me might be able to help you out? Please don't give up!

Hang in there, everyone! Get straight back on the horse, I reckon, and drink loads of water if you have a lapse.

I have lost two pounds this week, which I am very happy with, as I thought I might not lose anything. I'm now 11 pounds down since beginning, and only six weeks to go until a beach holiday. I feel so much better, and I think it really helps to focus on other benefits, not just weight loss, to keep me on track. For example, I always have much better skin and sleep a lot better when I'm eating like this (If only my baby would get with the program, I could get a decent night's sleep, which would surely curb those bloody carb cravings that I'm still getting!)

Right.

There is a lot of cheating going on here. Myself included Blush

The outcome of this will be inevitable.

However, can I also remind people that talking about what you've been cheating with, especially if then you manage to STS or even lose weight, can be very triggering for people who haven't cheated, but still haven't see a loss on the scales.

We all need to rein it in, folks. Otherwise next weigh-in there are going to be a lot of very unhappy people.

These two graphs both show my 30lb weight loss in 2013. The first shows the weekly weigh-ins, the second shows the monthly weigh-ins. With the weekly weigh-ins you can see about six occasions where my weight either stayed the same or didn't drop from the previous week's weigh-in. When the same data is plotted monthly instead of weekly you can see a nice steady weight loss of 1-2lb per week.

Please don't get too hung up on one weigh-in not being what you expected. If you've been cheating then get back on plan. If you've been strict and still not lost weight then keep on keeping on. It is impossible to see the trend in your weight loss until you're looking back over several months while hoiking up your trousers because your waist has shrunk so much. For most of us the weight sneakily crept on unnoticed, that's the way it leaves too: SNEAKILY
