Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet

And The Weight Tracker

Up at silly o'clock to catch a train to Leeds so no time for anything else.

Hope your weigh-in brings you good news. But if it doesn't - don't fall into a pile of biscuits - come and rant about it here!

Greetings and salutations.

Will be back later to spill the beans.

And Shock and Thanks to BIWI for such a stupidly early start...

sassandfaff · 23/02/2015 06:30

Morning.

I think I've stayed the same this week. 193. Im ok with that, as i did go up 3lbs mid week. If someone can add please?

I am the queen at maintaining anyway. Lose a bit, maintain, lose a bit more maintain, seems to be my bodies strategy.

No biscuits for me biwi keeping on, keeping on.

Yeah!!!!!

The school holidays are over. I can get things done.

almahart · 23/02/2015 06:39

I have been losing and putting in the same 3 pounds since week 3 now, but am happy to report that they are off at the mo and o am at 153. That boozy night out really wasn't worth it. Am determined that the scales will start moving down this week - we're half way through!!

ijustwanttobeme · 23/02/2015 06:42

another 1lb gone.

am going to be a bit stricter from today-as over the last week I'd succumbed to a few carby snacks

Off to Rome in two weeks and ideally would like to have lost another 5lbs by then.

Let's see what I can do.

Romeyroo · 23/02/2015 07:39

that is an early start, Biwi - thanks for the new thread, but I hope you don't feel like we expect it at the crack of dawn Flowers.

My sleep is all over the place due to workload and other stuff, so I weighed at 4am, having said that I was going to wait till Wednesday after two meals out the house over the weekend. Plus, I am drinking too much coffee. But it was 1lb off last week's weight, so that will do. It means I am half a stone off since the start of BC. It puts me at the top of my 'happy with' weight, so I am sticking with BC till the end, then I will move to maintenance.

My body is beginning to look weird, though, or at least my shape has changed to be pear shape, rather than apple. This is a good thing (I think!), but it means that the fat on my hips and the top of my thighs is more obvious. I think I definitely need to find the time to start exercising for tone reasons.

Notagainmun · 23/02/2015 07:43

Stayed the same. Had a blip on Thursday evening so I think it is showing on the scales. Also my TOTM is due in a few days so may have water retention, I certainly feel bloated. Hope fully I will have a good week and have a good weight loss next Monday.

10 weeks until my holiday and I would like to lose a stone and a half.

Mrsstevejones · 23/02/2015 07:47

Morning all! i am pleased to report a 5lb loss from last week making me now 13st 8lbs - had a massive whoosh and lost 3lbs overnight - i shant be weighing again this week in case it sneaks back on!!

Yay, does a happy dance, thanks all on here.

I am now only 1 stone off of my wedding weight and 3st 9lbs to goal.

BIWI · 23/02/2015 07:47

The only good thing about my early start was no time to jump on the scales!

Just had breakfast on the train - bacon, egg, sausage (only ate half of that as no idea how carby it was, although it was very meaty so hopefully not too bad) and mushrooms.

Flowers and huge love for doing this BIWI week 6 has come around very quickly.
I'm down to 184lb which means 22lbs off in total Smile I am so happy to be tantalisingly close to 12st something. I've not been this light for about 5 years. This has made me very determined for this week.

On the downside, DH is working away a few days this week and next week and DD is in bed very poorly and very upset that she is missing school. She's in yr 10 and doing more exams in a couple of months so lots of pressure to be in school at the moment.
My cupboards are seriously low carb bare so need to shop after the school run. Also a bit skint, I am shite a budgeting and think DH's budget is stingy for a family of 6

Hope everyone is feeling better this week and managing to KOKO

ChesterDrawers · 23/02/2015 08:00

Still feeling a bit ropey but the scales have certainly cheered me up - 4.2lbs off this week, bringing me to 10st 3.4 Grin.

It's possibly a bit of a false reading as last week's WI was scuppered by a Sunday carbathon and I've not eaten much this week being ill. That said I have been back on three meals a day since Satuerday so hopefully it'll stick.

Today's plan:

B: Eggs, butter
L: Chicken wrapped in parma ham, avocado, salad, olive oil
D: spicy pork koftes, salad, garlic mayo

Going to try my kettlebells class at lunch. Hoping it's not too evil as I'm still not feeling overly energetic.

Pisseslikeahorse · 23/02/2015 08:01

Good morning all, still getting on after a rather tiring half term week - no major loss but the face is looking tighter... think I've crept into maintenance Grin

harderthanitlooks · 23/02/2015 08:10

I've stayed the same as last week but I'm quite happy with that considering I not only fell off the wagon but it drove over me several times. I think I was a few lbs up but getting back on track.

prettybird · 23/02/2015 08:14

The thing I love about this WOE is how much nicer food tastes when cooked in butter.

Brussel sprouts microwaved with butter, turkey, pork or cod steaks fried in butter, strips of courgettes cooked in butter......Smile

All yummy.

DrDiva · 23/02/2015 08:25

Good morning again.

Well. I fell off the last thread, mainly because low carbing was utterly nowhere on the horizon. Life got a bit crap - I just passed due date for the twins I lost last year and Mother Nature thought it would be a good time to throw a chemical pregnancy at me Hmm . My head was all over the place, and given the food issues I have had before, I just are whatever DH put in front of me. And bless him, to cheer me up he was buying me cheesecake, cookies, making me hot chocolate drinks... Probably the worst things possible but I ate them, even with some pleasure!

However. I have picked myself up and dusted myself off. My brain feels more ready to get back to healthier living and eating - the fog has lifted yesterday and today. I have cauliflower cheese soup with me for lunch, and I am going to stop off for breakfast at my favourite cafe who do lovely scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. I rarely do this.

Congratulations for the weight losses. Have a great day everyone.

GuyMartinsSideburns · 23/02/2015 08:45

Morning all, I've stayed the same this week (if anyone wouldn't mind putting that in the spreadsheet please) but I'm happy with that - I had my lovely brother come to visit for the weekend and we went out for a meal etc I hadn't seen him for almost 2 years so it was so lovely to catch up. I'll be feeling a bit homesick and fragile now this week because of it but I won't hit the biscuit wagon Smile My children don't go back to school until tomorrow so I've got their company too! Have a lovely day everyone xx

BIWI · 23/02/2015 08:51

Oh DrDiva - that sounds hard Flowers

OP posts:
lurkingmurking · 23/02/2015 09:07

Oh Dr Diva that's horrible. Thanks

I STS this week which I'm happy with. I have a boozy night out planned for Friday so will be being ultra good this week though we are skint so the cupboards are looking a bit sparse.

From next week I am planning to try no dairy for 4 days per week and see if that gets me to a stone off.

nowitsenough · 23/02/2015 09:20

So sorry to hear that DrDiva.

STS this week, which I'm happy with, as I was terrible early in the week and over the weekend I had quite a lot of cream and yogurt.

BerylStreep · 23/02/2015 09:22

5 pounds off for me! (was actually more during the week, but I had a bit of cava at the weekend).

Hope everyone has a good week.

DrDiva Flowers

sassandfaff · 23/02/2015 09:24

Thanks drdiva.

Well done to everyone else. A very positive beginning this week. Smile

Pleaseandthankyou · 23/02/2015 09:25

The scales are not my friend this week. I know what I need to do, cut out the cheese, cut out nuts and wine!!! I am at that time of life where my hormones seem to be all mixed up so I suppose the fact that I am not heavier than when I started is a bit of a bonus. Not feeling my usual chirpy self this morning. When I look in the mirror head on I have a really hour glass shape (not very toned but it will do) but when I turn sideways I am sure I am twice as thick as I used to be. I am really glad to see that the weight loss has started again for many of you. Notso 22lbs is amazing. For health reasons I really need to keep my weight to this level or below. I would really like to creep back into normal bmi range but it seems more a challenge than before. Time to pull myself together, slap on a smile and perhaps wire my jaws shut. Have a good week everyone

Fatstacks · 23/02/2015 09:28

Flowers Dr Diva, that is rough

Birdinacage · 23/02/2015 09:42

I seem to be stuck at the moment so this week will be dairy free and super strict. I have been bc lighting really and I know that for me it's fine for maintenance but if I want to lose I can't have any dark chocolate or nuts as they just make me stall.

Dr Diva so sorry your having such a hard time, life can be so cruel Flowers

Romeyroo I'm the same, have lost most of the weight around my waist and with the bloating gone I'm now quite slim up top and on the lower leg area however the weight on my hips and bum is stubborn so I'm very pear shaped and it's very obvious that there is excess weight there. Doesn't help that it's all in strange lumpy patches so look weird, why is it that weight goes on evenly but comes off erratically from random areas Confused

CQ · 23/02/2015 09:47

My god, DrDiva you've had a tough year.

I just looked at this thread this morning having totally failed to start at the beginning of boot camp, for lots of reasons.

So if you want a buddy to start BC week 1 with, I'm here and starting from today.
