@GreyC glad that this time when AF arrives it means you can get cracking! Looking forward to your updates and will be sending positive vibes. I'm at a wedding this weekend. AF due next Thursday then August will be our last cycle before we have IUI (as long as they're not full for September).

@2fingers22018 I am the same in that I'm shift work and have to cover different areas, my current boss is fab and said take what you need, but that was before we lost 2 other managers last week! If it is December it might help that we are open much later so I can get there in the day and cover the evening shift that no-one wants... it doesn't help that the cheapest clinic we could find is in Cambridge, which is an hour away!!

@veeboo have a lovely time, I love a wedding, though I know they can sometimes have their challenges. Hope you get the weather! Fx for this coming cycle 🤞

@veeboo I got asked last night be a virtual stranger which I suppose might be easier as I just said yeah at some point and that was that! But yeah I wasn’t expecting it! We just have to do our best don’t we.

Oh @finallytakingtheplungewithivf I think some people do it stupidly as chit chat. It's as bad as being asked by a stranger if you're pregnant. Just don't!

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF no probs @CloudsSway glad ur boss has been understanding soo far i mean i do get its hard for them to cover my shifts since i cant give them any notice thats the worst part u just need to wait n c how ur body responds to the meds and they said i could need to come in twice a day bloods in the morning and scans in the afternoon. They seem to keep a close on u which is gd suppose @veeboo weddings are the worst for baby questions i always think if u can get through the afternoon its plain sailing when the band and music come on you can pretend you didnt hear or dance half the nite lol have fun @FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF ive came to the conclusion ppl ask when they cant think of anythin else to say my new tactic is to just bounce questions right back at them haha

@2fingers22018 oh wow twice a day that’s pretty hard going I had scans in the morning and then bloods straight after and that hard enough trying to get the early appointment with work being an hour away from the clinic!!
Well I was even more schooled when it was guy that asked 😂 and he put it so polite are you planning on having one with your husband and when is the breeding going to start 😯 I managed to get away after that and go talk to others!

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF i know i was shocked when she said that i ll get bloods done in the mornings and depending on how i respond they can adjust my meds i ll prob get scanned in the afternoon. Im not as far away as that luckily, but i dnt drive so it will take me longer to get there and bak to work. I think works goin to b the most stressful part! I cant believe he actually said that breeding? I think idve had to say something unpleasent to him lol such a gross thing to say😯

@2fingers when do you start your cycle? All three of us may be similar times.

I’m going to see a CBT therapist next week just to top up before I start all of this :)

@GreyC my periods due in bout 3wks and since im nhs they cant guarentee al get booked in my nxt cycle so you ll prob b done by the time i start😂

@2fingers22018 is it a hospital you are going with? I’m NHS too and my clinic are fantastic! No wait list or anything which is good.
I think we will be going together. I have to turn mine ovaries to sleep mode starting day 21 of my cycle and I’m currently day 2. Then I start injecting for two weeks x

@GreyC i dnt get a choice in my area they just refer me to the nearest hospital luckily they seem to have just above average success rates so im lucky in that sense. I bet u wish the days would just pass quicker . I kinda of hope my cycles a little longer this month since my periods due at the weekend and theyr closed, i dnt understand how shops can open over the weekend but hospitals cant.

I started downreg on the 23rd July. Have scan booked in this Thursday to fingers crossed, start stims. Still no period although have felt like it should have started for a couple of days. Really hoping I don’t have to delay things already 😔

Welcome @anaesthetist83 might help if you tell us about about your history we are all at very different stages I’ve just completed my first cycle which resulted in a positive but ended at 5 weeks so am on to my next fet in September we have mfi so are having ICSI!

Sorry your last cycle wasn’t successful.

This is my first attempt at IVF. Long protocol. Started buserelin on 23rd July (day 21)..... still awaiting period which am meant to have before scan to check downregulated before starting stims. Sadly I have long cycles, so think a preemptive scan this coming Thursday may not happen

@GreyC im goin bak on my diet 2morro i need to focus on somethin to try n make the time go by quicker plus theyr doin my bmi soon i dread to c what it is lol @Anaesthetist83 welcome..do the scans not show signs of when your af should be due? @FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF good thing u dnt lol sumtimes guys blurt out the stupidiest of things but sumtimes i get annoyed how do they become adults and not know thats inappropriate? Crazy was his OH not with him? I bet u she was like u wait to we get in😂
