Following on from a thread about latin phrases, I thought about how schools describe their values...

My school motto was Fortiter Vivamus - we live bravely.

mine didn't have one (that I knew of?)

However the school I worked at in Zimbabwe (and where exH and I got married had)

Tot Facienda Parum Factum (so much to do so little done) - we had a photo taken underneath the arch that had it written on

Serve and Obey... for Lapin and I. It was not in Latin, though... not quite sure why, given we all HAD to learn Latin whilst we were there.
