Thanks trying! You have made for a happy lady :-)

Ok here goes

I am 34 dp 32
DD6 from previous relationship took 3 years to conceive had a constant period bleed throughout pregnancy. Ended small for dates and heart defect.

Been TTC for 42 months started June 2011.
7 mc later and just even diagnosed with high functioning NK cells which may have been my first pregnancy issue.

DP is the only daddy in my little ladies life and it's an amazing bond they have so I realise how lucky and blessed I am already.

Just hoping for a longed sibling for DD and a biological child for myself and dp to share also.

Long story really! Sorry!

Glad to be a part of this thread x

Thanks for sorting Sunny :)

Following on from thread 13, Dildoos yes same type of test (although cheapy one and did a repeat this morning, same result :() and thanks Rosa/Trying still not 100% sure what to do so will prob stay on the pred/prog although started to spot ever so slightly so its pretty clear what is happening - oh joy!

Dildoos - yes you can drink on pred (thankfully!). Be careful if you are on metformin though (not sure if you are? I am for PCOS) as it can make you quite poorly if you over indulge.

Will put a summary on the next post x

Report
Tryingno1 · 29/11/2014 17:17

Determined so sorry :(....Yes can u go for bloods or early scan? I would keep going with pred and progesterone till u know for sure? Some
People say the progesterone can delay the bleeding side of things though...but I'm sure ur epau will do hcg/scan and let u know either way. :(

Here goes...(slightly long one)

Me 32, DH 36
TTC since July 2013. 2 miscarriages (Jan 14, 7 weeks, April 14, 6 weeks) and then of course whatever is happening now (at only 5 weeks!).

Have PCOS, borderline NK cell levels (but I think the activity is high!?) MTHFR and very high thyroid anti-bodies. After my second miscarriage I was exhausted for weeks which I didn't think was just the upset of it all so I knew something which wasn't quite right and found Dr S after then.

Treatment wise I am on metformin for the pcos, (and aspirin and vits etc)pred after Ov and prog and this month was my second doing super ovulation. Due to the PCOS I was ovulating really late (day 20+ on a 30-32 day cycle so luteal phase too short). Oh and also have to have intralipids from BFP.

As I type I am feeling ok ish (considering)...i am sure i will be up and down over the next couple of days but i am trying to stay positive that i got pregnant so it will happen again and it will be successful!!! :)

Sending positive vibes :)

Here goes-

I'm 32, DH is 35 - we've been trying since January 2013. Got pregnant first month but had lots of bleeding, had 2 scans at local pregnancy unit even saw heartbeat but had a mc at 8 weeks.

Got pg again in October 2013 and only knew for about 3 days before the bleeding started again mc at 5/6 weeks.

Went to see local hospital fetility specialist - waste of time and basically told me to go away and loose weight. Did research and found DR S.

I have high nk cells (not sure about activity) on pred at ov, then intralipids and progesterone from positive preg test.

Just going in to round 4 of SO.

Feeling generally ok, frustrated that I haven't been able to get pregnant for over a year now but hope that positive test is not far away!

Thanks Sunny!
Hope you are ok Determined. Sending you a big hug. Life is so cruel sometimes but there will be happier times ahead.
My story is as follows...
I'm 38 and DH is 36. We have a three year old DS. We had three miscarriages before him and have had four since (one very late, another little boy when I was six months pregnant last year. The others ranged from six weeks to 10 weeks).
I am now five weeks pregnant again and on treatment for the first time. Had bloods taken today and they have gone up from 2017 to 3966 in 48 hours. They say that is good enough. I hope so! I am having a scan at epu on Monday to check if sac is developing or something along those lines I think.
Hope everyone is managing to keep spirits up. When we lost our little boy last year I thought I'd never feel happy again but time does help. I also know that miracles can happen because we have our DS, who was born a whopping 9lb 3oz after no treatment.
I am on prednisolone, cyclogest and intralipids at six weeks. Dr S says I have high gliafin

Hopender · 29/11/2014 21:56

Oops, sent to soon. Meant to say Dr S says I have high gliadin antibodies which are causing me to have an auto-immune response to any pregnancy. It can be variable though.
Sending you all lots of positive vibes for lots of BFPs this month. Thanks so much for the support this week too. It has meant a lot, xxxx

Thanks so much Trying. You are such a sweetie. Hospital didn't ring until 5.30pm and then I had dinner plans with the girls (just as well it was good news). I came up with various rubbish reasons for why I wasn't drinking! Then got I on mumsnet as soon as I was home. DH is wondering what I'm up to on my phone the whole time! Is it a week until you ovulate again? I think we were all in sync last month! So hoping for BFPs for you all this month! Xxx

Sorry this is long .. But here's my bio...
Me - 38 DH - 36
TTC since 2011/12 but didn't try properly until 2 years ago.
3 miscarriages between Aug 2013 and July this year. 11 weeks (MMC, heart beat seen at 7 weeks, D&C), 6 weeks (natural MC), 8 weeks (MMC, heat beat seen at 7).

I have a high TNF Alpha, a high natural killer cell count and very high activity as well as cytotoxicity assay. I also have high thyroid antibodies and a high TSH but that's now dropped to correct levels as taking 50mg of thyroxine.

I am on the complex treatment programme which is asprin, vits, pred, cyclogest and intralipids from BFP- but had to take Humira injections first. I had an allergy to Humira and side effects to hydroxychloroquine..so stopped both.

Currently feeling ok considering - but have mini-breakdowns from time to time usually at night when time to think.. It frustrates me as makes me feel like I'm not coping but hopefully it's normal all considered. I have a quite a stressful job with long hours so R&R can be a challenge!

On cycle 4 this time and after tracking via every route before just DTD around time I thought was ov and not taking any drugs this time other than asprin. I don't have high hopes as conceiving taking ages sometimes so v worried about age. Will take pred, cyclogest and intralipids from BFP if get lucky. Starting to worry DH should be tested too... His BMI is 25 and he's trying to bring it down.

Anyway that's me.. Long but better to do it in one go!

Tryingno1 · 30/11/2014 13:59

Hi rosa. I'm off the pred and asprin this month too...it's month 5 and I'm worrying about my DH sperm
Too...I'm giving it to month 9 and then getting tests done. It's totally normal to feel like utter crap some days. I commonly break down and cry non stop and feel so shit...last 2 weeks I've been happier just hoping this feeling lasts as its unbearable sometimes when u feel pants...
Have u got fun things planned over Xmas and some time
Off? Hugs to u
X
