Thanks for setting up Choccie. Just bumping this up. Also to report I tested stupidly early and got a BFN this morning. But as always, proves nothing at 9dpo. Idiot!

hippychick66 · 12/08/2010 16:33

Hello ladies - just marking my spot on the brand spanking new thread.

here's to many BFP's.

I think I am heading for a record short cycle. I think I ov'd on about day 8 and usually only have an 11 day LP. So I could be looking at AF on day 19!!! How mad is that????

Still in April I had a 21 day cycle and then got preg in May - so it could be ok.

chocciechip · 12/08/2010 16:38

I'm having wobbles - had spotting today - bright red bleeding found when I checked my cervix this morning - at 7DPO. So too early and apparently the wrong colour for implantation bleed. Am now a bit worried I have something else wrong with me. Spent ages looking at my chart trying to work out if I could have ov'd earlier, but I think not. So ... I am concerned, to say the least.

Hi hippy.

gaga - the good thing is its way to early and you can do more testing (but wait a bit longer before doing so). Smile

chocciechip · 12/08/2010 16:39

hippy Its not so mad to have cycles out of sync after a MC though ... your body could still be settling down. x

spilttheteaagain · 12/08/2010 16:54

Ooh goody, I was hoping someone would start a part 2 thread.

Been thinking of empty today, hope you're doing ok.

hippychick66 · 12/08/2010 17:11

choccie What colour is implantation bleed then? - I thought it was bright red spotting.

Not sure why you are spotting at 7 dpo. I sometimes do but then I do have short LP's. How long are yours usually?

Looking at your chart it defo looks like you ov'd on day 15 but hopefully one of the clever bods will have a look for you as well.

bessie26 · 12/08/2010 20:07

Hi everyone - what a lovely new thread - thanks choccie

hippy did you o last cycle? When I o'd early it was after not Oing the previous the cycle.

choccie you defn O'd around CD15. Afraid I have no idea about the spotting, but I'm sure someone who knows what they're talking about will be along soon

I'm a bit confused as I had a bit of a surprise this morning!

Danilou22 · 12/08/2010 21:25

Hoory, Horrah CONGRATULATIONS bessie Grin That is fab news and so exciting and a positive start to the new thread!

I on the other hand did not have a suprise this morning and got a big fat -ve!! But your news has cheered me up!

LadyGoneGaga · 12/08/2010 22:33

Congrats bessie - fab news! I bet you thought RTD was on the way and then, bam!

Choccie I thought implantation bleeds could vary in colour? Got to admit the timing is a little exciting, no? Don't worry too much about the otehr things. Bleeding can just be polyps which are harmless. Speak to GP if still worried though.

chocciechip · 13/08/2010 11:37

Wonderful news bessie. Congratulations!

gaga Google seems to say that they are typically pink or brown. My luteal phase is usually about 14 days so I think the timing is way too early for implantation.

I used a canestan pessary on Sunday night because I thought I might have thrush, and have found a thread today with screeds of women talking about how they started bleeding after using it. So I'm guessing thats what it probably was. No more bright blood today - just some pink tinged CM.

digitalgirl · 13/08/2010 12:58

Hi ladies just getting myself back on this thread as I think I'm finally 1dpo (although cervix still open), so my bbt chart should be a bit more interesting over the next couple of weeks. Not really overanalysing my chart for the last 3 weeks has helped time go a little quicker. Am prepared for it to slow down now! [[http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1c0685
what do you think?]]

Haven't charted cm properly this time as ewcm really just coincides with post-swi days. The spikes in my pre-ov phase are actually from drinking the night before. And despite only a small rise I think I may have ovulated yesterday - the day after my second positive opk. Exactly the same as last cycle, so at least I'm becoming more consistent even if it does mean 40 day cycles (yawn).

Congrats Bessie Grin

choccie methinks you've had an implantation bleed. I had a spot of bright red blood at 7dpo in my last pregnancy. Just saying...

spilttheteaagain · 13/08/2010 13:20

Congratulations bessie! Grin

Saladbomb · 13/08/2010 14:50

Hello all. I have just started charting this month and would like to chat to other people who are either starting out like me, or have loads of experience who I can pick the brains of :o I am finding it I am getting a bit obsessed already!

FF said I was due to OV yesterday but I think it will be today as got a - OPK today after a + yesterday but a normal temp so should I expect the temp rise tomorrow?

congratulations on your BFP bessie

chocciechip I think IB can be as early as 6DPO (I did a bit of a reading up on it a few months ago as had some mid cycle bleeding) so you never know :o

emptyshell · 13/08/2010 15:14

Congrats bessie!

I'm still here, still peeing on sticks to reassure me there's someone in there as no symptoms apart from sore boobs that come and go!

bessie26 · 13/08/2010 21:24

Thanks guys! Grin

ladyggg you're right.. my temp went down & I had a bit of a crampy tum, so I assumed AF was on the way, then on thurs my temp went up again and as I was going to see a Kineologist (don't ask! was about my thyroid) I thought I'd better do a test to make sure...
I'm still not quite believing it & have no symptoms but my Dr has referred me for a 6wk scan (because of the 2 m/c) so fingers crossed I'll get some good news then.

empty glad you're ok.. just wait until those symptoms kick in... you'll be puking everywhere - and grinning while you do it! Grin

choccie hope the spotting is for a good reason...

salad welcome! There's lots of support and advice on here! Do post a link to your chart so we can all obsess over it too! Grin

love and baby dust to all Grin

theteasonme · 13/08/2010 21:52

Hi ladies, lovely to see lots of good news on here - really pleased to hear from you empty Smile

I reckon AF is due between tomorrow & wed at the very latest. I just want her here and gone again so we can have our next chance IYSWIM Grin don't think I'm due another egg till early September now though but they should pass quite quickly as I'm on my hols with my gorgeous boy!

Congrats bessie it sounds like you gave yourself a shock!

xx

Orchid12 · 14/08/2010 09:37

Congrats Bessie!!! Best of luck to you (smile)

BFN for me yesterday at 11 DPO which is early but I have no signs so am expecting the RTD to turn up on Mon-Tues. Boooo!

Teason- enjoy your holibobs.

Salad- glad to see a fellow BESHie over here too. Another thing to obsess about (smile)

Saladbomb · 14/08/2010 11:33

Thanks bessie I would post a link to my chart but I can't figure out how to! still an FF nube but can't find anything like a 'link to my chart' button. At the moment its looks like I am lucky and my temp behaves itself even if i wake early/late. I've been averaging 36.1 and got 36.4 this morning and OPKs back this up for OV yesterday. Ha! It almost sounds like I know what I am talking about!! Of course if it goes back down tomorrow i will be Confused again.

tea hope you enjoy your hols and they are not infringed upon by dastardly AF.

Waves to orchid yes it is another obsession making thing but as I said over there, it at least gives me the illusion that I am in control of something :o Boo for BFN and boo to AF, mind you DPO11 is still pretty early days isn't it?

hippychick66 · 14/08/2010 17:15

I really should NOT qualify to be on this thread!!! I was staring at bessie's chart going - Confused Confused what? what? and then came back to here to see everyone congratulating her - had another look at the chart and of course saw the +.

Well done honey. I can imagine how stressed you are (having had 2 MC's as well) but I am assured it doesn't mean you are more likely this time - so try to relax (yes I know I'm talking jibberish).

As for me - CD 1 already!!! I ov'd on about day 8 so AF turned up on day 20. Still I had a 21 day cycle in April and thought it was a sign to give up TTC - which was swiftly followed by my BFP in May. So I am happy for the same to happen again but with a better embryo this time please [ begging face].

Quick question :- Ever since my MC in June i've had pin prick like pains in my legs (I am booked in to see my lovely GP on monday - more waiting in the waiting room for my poor boys). -

it feels like when you think a small insect is caught in your trousers and is biting you. According to GOOGLE I am either anxious, aneamic, about to get parkinsons (which is in the family) or about to have a massive heart attack (what my dad died of!!!), so as you can see, I am slightly worried about these leg pains!!!! Confused

Anyone else ever had them???

digitalgirl · 15/08/2010 21:43

ooh ff has moved my ov date to when I think is more likely to have happened: that's more like it

Any news on the spotting chocciechip?

Hope you're enjoying your hols teason - am a little disappointed we're out of sync now, but excellent news that you're on a shorter cycle.

theteasonme · 15/08/2010 22:23

Hi digi I'm now you 4 days in the future! Sadly no signs I'm preggo this month but hopefully they'll appear for you!

Hippy STOP GOOGLING!!!! I'm sure your pains will get sorted, could it be an allergy to something you've used recently?

xx

emptyshell · 16/08/2010 11:37

digi FF was forever playing musical ovulation dates with me - it seemed to bounce about 2-3 times before settling on when I reckoned was right anyway!

hippychick66 · 16/08/2010 12:27

Doctor thinks I may be aneamic (probably due to MC's). She is sending me for blood tests. Testing for loads of things like liver function, blood count, B12, thyroid etc etc.

Hopefully she will get to the bottom of it. Feel much calmer about it now i've seen her. She once again reminded me not to google my symptoms Blush Grin
