Yay! It's day 0 and the video is up ( at 6.03 for me). Let's do this! What a lovely gentle way to start. See you all tomorrow when we actually do a little bit of yoga.

I'm in! My sentence is 'i commit to the 39 day yoga journey because it brings me joy'.

I have a daily yoga practice year-long (5 days a week anyway) but it often goes to pot during December with the kids at home and coughs and colds etc. Jan is when I reset and it sets me back on track for the whole year 💛

Hi, I’ve just watched day 0. I love Adriene and have dabbled on and off with her videos over the years but I’ve never committed to a full 30 days!… I’m hoping this is my chance 😀

I love Adriene- there are a few teachers on youtube that I also use.

I have practiced yoga for decades, but committed to daily practice at the start of lockdown- almost 3 years ago.

I still practice 5 or 6 days a week. It is a habit now.

No physical yoga on day 0. It's just an introduction video.

I think Adriene knows that on NYD most people are a little ropey 😁

Joining, managed to do Adriene yoga (mainly move) almost every day last year and I feel so much better for it .

Thanks for starting the thread! I think this might be the first time I've tried doing one of her 30 day series in January. I have always wondered why it didn't start on the 1st. Now I understand! I will be doing yoga for hangovers later on!

I watched the video this morning. I couldn't think of an affirmation thing, but I've made a note and later on today I'll reflect on it. PP's affirmations are all helping me to think about it!

I'm here to join you all! Happy New Year everyone :-) This is my third year doing the 30 days of yoga, and last year I kept it up for quite a bit beyond January. These threads were helpful in being consistent, and I love the tips that people give that helped me to get more out of my practice. Unfortunately I allowed life to get in the way, and the daily habit dwindled as the year progressed. Daily yoga is definitely a habit I want to reintroduce into my life, as it makes such a difference in every area when I keep it up.

That said, I'm feeling a bit rough today. I had nowhere near enough alcohol to get a hangover, but staying up beyond midnight often triggers a migraine in me...and hey-ho, sure enough I woke up this morning feeling rather ropey. (Note to my future self to decline NYE parties, as it's just not worth the fallout!) I've just watched Day 0, and I'm very glad it's a non-yoga day, although I might do Adriene's yoga for migraines later depending on how I feel. My affirmation is I am resetting....

Hello! I've watched the intro video and setting my intentions to get up (relatively - it is the last of my days off after all) early. Certainly earn than the 9am I've slipped into this week!
Kick start the day with yoga, I'm hoping means I'll then get on with stuff rather than sat about doing nothing.
