Thanks not

Not2bObvious · 24/08/2021 07:31

Faced the scales - 169.8, hurrah! A hairsbreadth under 170.
Bit of a broken sleep but feel ok, not as busy a day today but enough to keep going. I'll get a walk in at lunchtime.

Definitely not - thanks for the new thread.
I was thinking of setting a goal for Christmas - I want to lose 7 pounds as my first goal and maintain that for a bit before dropping another 7-8.
Food yesterday was good and within cals even with wine. Didn’t manage bike as was shattered after Summer school. Today I get off summer school at lunch so hopefully I’ll have the energy. IVF drugs are starting to have their effect, am very bloated and tired and the wine has knocked me out even tho it was only one glass!

Not2bObvious · 24/08/2021 08:45

Christmas Eve is 17.5 weeks away. Omg.
Definitely on for setting goals, sounds very doable gen
My first goal is to be 167.8, so I'm back under 12 stone. The pounds hide the numbers I know too well and fear. But 1 pound at a time, I'll get there. Started recording weight in Happy Scale, there's a misnomer if there ever was! Ah well maybe one day. 1.5 pints of squash in, on my second cup of black tea before work. Had a light breakfast, best get up & get ready (wash face/brush teeth😬) for work. Having to wear stretchy trousers at the minBlush

1/2 off today and aerobics done
Dirty pot noodle for lunch which is probably not worth the 345 calories but needs must

Gensola · 24/08/2021 12:19

I haven't had breakfast today as summer school was crazy again, brought in a cold slice of veg frittata but haven't eaten it. Have had a chocolate given to me by a kid and two coffees with dash of oat milk. Will have fish and salad for lunch and keep frittata for tomorrow.
Hoping to get on bike once I get home plus out for a walk to get in the steps. Weigh day on Saturday and I want a loss! If lose 0.5lb per week, I'd easily be at target by xmas, even better if I lose 1lb. But of course if IVF works ....
Well done life
Not I too am in stretchies... it sounds like your goal is very achievable! I have renpho scales and my phone has a scary graph of my weight over the past year. I was 69kg when I started losing, lowest was 62kg before hols so a loss of around a stone.

Great stuff !
Have been ok , busy as per , DH bought home s load of Millionaire shortbread and l have resisted 😀👋
That's a major win !
Keep going everyone 👏😁

Happierwithouthim · 24/08/2021 20:03

Thanks for new thread not
I'm tipping the scales at 200lbs. Ultimate goal revised to 147lbs so 53lbs to go.
Guess I'll just chip away at it 10lbs at a time.

Got off to a good start today, until bf brought in a massive bag of sausage rolls to work & I ate 3 of them, they were just cooked and tasted fabulous but I'd had my porridge with a pear so I didn't need them & 650 cals wasted.

Dinner was a yellow sticker salmon fillet with salad & fries done in actifry. Trying to include more pulses. Had kidney beans in dinner last night & salad had chickpeas.

I'm really tired so only did a small walk with dd while ds was at soccer training

Well done on resisting the millionaires shortbread not sure I could mrsmadevans

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/08/2021 20:08

Wow resistant of millionaire shortbread, i definitely could not, or fresh sausage rolls

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/08/2021 20:09

I’ve come in at 1450 but proper tracking of milk has not happened, bugger all nutritional value either

Mrsmadevans · 24/08/2021 20:15

Happier l don't know how l did it, except l had just taken my pain relief and it makes me a bit spaced out so l probably didn't realize what l was missing 😂😂
Fresh sausage rolls now that is a very difficult one for me too 😁
Your meal look delicious 😋
Life l know right how did l resist those .l was in cloud cuckoo land that's why 😂😂
I Can thoroughly recommend Gabapentin and Tramadol for helping keep our minds off the food 😂

Gensola · 24/08/2021 20:35

No way I could resist either Millionaire shortbread or Sausage rolls 😂
Food today has been good, no booze as it made me feel rotten, it must not mix well with IVF drugs. Did a good walk with DH and 30 mins on bike but only gentle as I feel like crap!
First IVF scan tomorrow to see how the eggs are growing.

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/08/2021 20:45

Sorry you are feeling grim gen. fingers crossed for productive follicles.

Ah that’s the weight loss secret, being off your tree on painkillers

Mrsmadevans · 24/08/2021 20:49

Gen good luck tomorrow for the eggs have everything crossed for you ❤️🤗🤞👏😊👍

Mrsmadevans · 24/08/2021 20:51

life definitely it really helps 😂
I now understand why cocaine users are so thin 😐 poor things l would rather be fat and have a nose and teeth tbh 😐

Not2bObvious · 24/08/2021 21:16

Fingers crossed gen!!
My exercise is very very gentle, walking to shops (20 mins) and 35 brisk on the dreadmill. Cals under 1500 so that's something. Evening snacks still a....challenge. Millionaires shortbread and sausage rolls, rarely if ever have either. They're in my danger food category!

Great days work Not well done 👍✅😃

Happierwithouthim · 24/08/2021 21:50

I'll resist the pain medication as an appetite suppressant Grin

Good luck tomo gen

All I did since I ate is chop up a pineapple & lie on top of my bed so now I'm in it!

Mrsmadevans · 24/08/2021 22:13

Good for you Happier have a good sleep 👏☺️
Side effects are nausea as well, so double the eating prevention 😂😂😂

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/08/2021 06:44

More bloat off this morning whoop whoop. Then oh gets hard as it’s actual fat , hey ho

Happierwithouthim · 25/08/2021 08:30

198.2 this morning so some of the alcohol bloat is gone.

Ds wet my bed, through kylie sheet, sheet & mattress protector down to my new mattress Sad

Life least it's going down!

Not2bObvious · 25/08/2021 09:28

Oh no happier, that's gutting. We had that happen and I was so upset, probably sounds silly but I think you'll get it. A decent carpet cleaner took it out, it was the hire type one but I'd say even a standard one might help? Delighted you're down, hope that gives you a bit of a lift.
Down .8 to 169 - whoop whoop, getting away from the rotten 170 quite literally a pound at a time. Walked to further shops this morning and that's my official exercise done for the day, just going to keep busy now.
Nice one life, you sound in much better form too!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 25/08/2021 14:45

Oh no happier. Hope it cleans out
Yes I am in good form just don’t ask about nutrition

Gensola · 25/08/2021 17:43

Oh god happier that’s so annoying. My little bro used to climb into bed with me when he had a bad dream (I was 6 when he was born so this would have been when he was 3 and I was 9ish) and once he had a huge wee all over me in our sleep. It came out of the bed, though, I think my mum steam cleaned it!

Mrsmadevans · 25/08/2021 19:11

I was a bed wetter till l was at least 11 so l absolutely get the despair of cleaning the mattresses Hmm Flowers all round Smile
Looks as if everyone is doing very well excellent stuff Smile
I am ok today, busy with Mum so no time or energy to scoff and of course the pain killers , AKA appetite suppressants are doing their thing GrinGrin
