I have 10 stone to lose overall. There, I said it. No going back now. I miss riding my horse, I miss being happy and I have a toddler that doesn't want a sweaty elephant for a mum.
Anyone want to join me for some moral support?

I'm in. I have 4 stone of regained lost weight to lose (had a baby this year). Really bored of slimming world as that's how I lost it the first time and not keen on calorie counting. What are you planning to do to lose your weight?

SW works for me when i stick to it. But I am greedy and like cheese and wine. And have no off switch.

Yay I'm not alone!

We are having one last week of not watching what we eat. My new scales are ordered and on their way,

Im not going to follow anything in particular. You name it I have done it so this time it's just healthy eating, smaller portions and getting out and about and exercising more. I have a pony to ride next christmas so no going back. If I stick to two pounds a week as a goal that will be 7st off by Christmas.

I lost 3 stone last year... and put it all back again. I was doing great with eating clean and felt so much better, I'm really annoyed with myself. Need to get back on the wagon... no more drinking alcohol at home, just keeping it a treat for when we eat out. No more white bread. Treadmill or yoga DVD 6 days a week.

I know someone who has just lost her final few pounds from a ten stone total....barely recognise her! Not just physically but her personality and attitude have all changed too. Fab!

I think I'll aim for a 4 stone loss. Won't know til my Jan 1st weigh in
And measurements too.... Get a tape measure everyone!

I'm in! 5 stone at least to lose here:((
Tried WW but hated it but dh has lost 21/2 stone on it. Which means I really want to lose the weight now!
Slimming World has worked for me in the past but I need to stick to it. Some very dear friends are returning from their annual Australia winter stay in March and I'd love them to notice a difference!
Starting Jan 2nd.

I want to lose 3 stone by august. Probably by calorie counting. Has anyone any idea what I can eat for breakfast that will tide me over until teatime?

I'm in 5st here (estimated as I've not dared get on the scales). I'm dropping alcohol for at least the first four months and that should help as I drink far too much.

I want to be in some photos with my dcs rather than the photographer as I'm too ashamed to be photographed.

Can I join? I haven't been brave enough to step on the scales since well before Christmas, but I think I've probably got something in the region of 7 plus stone to lose. It might even be 8-9 (very overweight :().

I have tried Slimming World in the past but I find it too hard because I'm not naturally that organised (and it's one plan you really do need to be organised with). I'm starting Weight Watchers on New Years Day (yeah yeah, I know, it's a cliché date!). I know it works for me because I lost a tonne on it in the past but have let myself slip up the last couple of years. Am only now starting to be honest about that.

I have just bought the organised mum diary and it's massively helpful because it's a week to view with a meal planning section on the opposite page. Anyone who needs a bit or help in this area might find this a good buy!

I'm in! Starting New Year's Day. I've had a baby this year and put on weight. I want to lose 3 stone, I don't want to count calories or keep a diary as I simply don't have time with a toddler and a 3 month old. I just need to stop grazing, stop snacking, stop eating chocolates and cakes all evening etc.

I'm in. I have 2 stone to lose. Currently injured. Fed up. Kids pissing me off. DH annoying me but I know it's me being unreasonable. Had rubbish Christmas. Planned to stuff face, drink loads then start once kids back to school. Except ill so no booze as on meds which aren't fucking working.

Gabi it doesn't matter how much you have to lose, all that matters is that you're doing something about it. I want this thread to be a support line no matter how much there is to lose! I have def got 10 stone to shift, im in the religion of 22/23st I think. PND got the better of me last year and I lived off dominos and chinese. I need to be maximum of 14 stone before I get on my horse again. I don't want to hurt him.

Yep I'm in. I need to lose three stone (or at least two👍🏻) by August too. And also like PP like cheese and wine and no off switch.

I am about to make another lifestyle change which should theoretically give time to exercise, walking, Pilates etc.

Mine is routine, if I can stick to eating a certain diet at work I can do it, then eat healthy SW-esque portions in the evening. No fads for me, I like wine and cheese too much! But those little packets of fun mix cheeses you can get are good as two of them is the old SW 40grams of cheese so that's my starting point!

I'm in! I've got 4-5 stone to lose to be BMI healthy, but of course that's not always spot on. I'd be over the moon if I lost 3 stone. I'm a maid of honour for my sister in September and I don't want to be the fat lass waddling down the aisle before the goddess bride and bridesmaids.

Also not following any particular plan I don't think. Just going to eat less and move more. Have big plans for cycling and running, so I may well follow the couch to 5k beginners running programme.

Good luck everybody!

I'm in. I lost all the baby weight immediately (last was 8 years ago). But in the last 2 YEARS, since giving up smoking and starting HRT I have gone up to almost 13 stone (which is what I weighed when 9 months pregnant!).
I have almost 3 stone to shed. I want to be 10 stone again.
I know giving up the 2 glasses of wine a night will help but I don't want to!

I absolutely swear by the Organised Mums Lifebook diary!! I discovered it a few years ago and have never been without it since. The wall planner family calendars are fab too. The appointment and reminder stickers are ace!

Oh god yes, please let me join! I haven't date weigh myself for a month and have got steadily bigger. I am looking at losing at least 4 stone, maybe more. Horrified at myself and another one who somehow needs to start by cutting down on alcohol.
I have friends staying the week and not leaving until Jan 5th. No point starting until then.
I have no idea what plan to use but cutting down on sugar and alcohol will be a start.
Thank you for the much needed kick up the butt. We can do this!

I'll join you Smile
I have 6/7 stone to lose and currently following the 5:2 which is working brilliantly for me so far thank god. I'm waiting for next week to arrive though as I may have a BFP on the cards... Not the best start for a weight losing 2016 but if it's a BFN I'm straight back on the horse!

Count me in. 2016 is about being kind to myself - and largely this has to involve what I stuff down my gullet - so as others have alluded to, less "following a plan", more "not eating shite because I deserve better".

I'd like to lose around 5 stone.
