30 Day Shred - DVD just arrived ... anyone else about to start?!

So, after all I've read, the DVD and the weights have arrived....

Later today I plan to begin.

In 30 days I will be toned, have lost this extra stone, feel awake instead of in need of a nap all the time ... etc etc etc.

Right now just getting through the first one would be a victory! Anyone else desperate and mad enough to be starting this....

Day four was hard to do but I feel less sore this morning. I have been doing it barefoot so will put my trainers on tonight and see if it makes a difference.

Hope your cold clears off soon but good on you for carrying on!

How are you feeling bullie?

It's mostly flat when I lie down Nacho grin but it's definitely lifted.

Haven't Shredded today and won't be doing. Was up all night with babies with colds plus my own cold has left me very achy feverish and nauseous. Plus it's my birthday today hmm

Day 2 done and suprisingly it was slightly easier today, I completed more of it than yesterday so that has to be good, not really coping with butt kicks so I sort of prance like a dancing pony!

Aim is to be able to the whole workout without stopping or gasping to much by day 10!

I am really crap at the butt kicks and jump rope. It kills my calf muscles. Think i need heavier arm weights tho.
How much exercise do you Jillian does a day?

Done day 1. Stepped some of the cardio as without sports bra running is v. Uncomfortable. Will try again tmrw with sports bra....hope I don't collapse very very unfit. Really hope it trims my wobbly tum.

Day 1 done - good god I that was tough!!!

I bought the shred about a year ago and have attempted it a couple of times... I am now determined to start properly! Planning on doing so tonight- will have to be about 9pm so hoping I will actually do it!

Whoop whoop, Day 3 done and dusted and it really is getting 'easier'

I still can't do the whole thing all the way through, positives, I find the strength sections with weights the easiest confused so I actually look forward to that bit! Jumping jacks are challenging, between my lack of co-ordination and chest bobbing about they are hard work but I did complete three sections of JJ's today that's two more than day one so I am on my way to completing the whole workout by the 10th day!

I may make it a 90 day shred by doing each segment for 30 days instead of 10 as I think this may improve my stamina grin

Thanks for the birthday wishes, was a bit of a rubbish day to begin with but improved as it went on. Still feel pretty icky but might try shredding tonight as I'm so worried I'll lose momentum. The fever and broken glass sore throat has gone now, just aches and snuffles. hmm

The 90 day shred's a good idea Bullie. I'm on day 6 and have just discovered it's not a 90 day shred, that I'm supposed to start workout 2 on day 11 shock. Not sure what I thought the 3 workouts were for exactly, but I have been enlightened sad

hi Vianne, hope your shredding while I am writing this, its hard to be motivated last thing but I have to wait for the kids to go to bed too.

Glad its getting better Bullie, day 4 was a turning point for me, I didn't feel sore the next day.

I've lost lots of weight but need to shift more and seeing my best friend in 4 weeks for 1st time in years so panic has set in shock

I pushed myself a bit harder today nacho but don't feel too bad. Scared myself looking at level 2 shock . Have been doing a 10 min cycle on the way to work and again on the way back. Not much but something. Also done a fast day on my 5:2 diet, which I'd let slip last wk. Don't think I have noticed any changes tho and not lost any weight.

I did it! Day 7 despite having the cold! anyone else a day 7 twinnie? Getting nervous now about progressing on day 10 to level 2 as still can't do the full 2 30 second blasts of press ups. It's the only bit I can't do though so feel like I should move on.

Just finished day 10!

Level 2 is terrifying isn't it?! I feel ready to move on, I don't feel like I've done enough after level 1 anymore. But I'm definitely not feeling ready for level 2!

It's definitely going to be a 90 day shred for me, I cannot contemplate those moves by next Wednesday shock most of it is like a foreign language to me [ grin]

I'm logging into a different shred thread but just saw this one - just thought I'd pop in to say, I did my 11th day, moving on to level 2 today and it didn't seem too bad - I can't do the press-ups in level 1 either but found the walk-out-to-plank thing in level 2 ok.

If I can get through it I bet you can! smile Do wear trainers though.
