Thought the house looked great on the inside but surprised they got planning for the way they ruined the external look of the house. Hey ho.

I liked the 1970s house.

Was they the first one with kitchen from front door

I agree, the outside looked awful! It was very overbearing for the size of the house. I thought the final house was amazing and with the £50k uplift in value on theirs, they could have got something like that with much more space, but each to their own!

I think having spent so much money and done so much work (much of it themselves) it was inevitable they would stay. If they'd been shown the houses first I think they would have saved their money (and time) and moved. But then I suppose that's nature of the show - if you're not prepared to do the work you'd just go straight to LLL. Personally I thought the extension was ugly and though they ended up with five-beds it was still quite poky downstairs (albeit with better storage). There was a lot of talk about being able to see the kids, but if you are talking about a forever home then it's a vanishingly small period when this is crucial - after that it's quite nice for them (and you) to be able to tuck yourself away. I think any of the houses they were shown would have worked better than their current home.

Yes agree. Once 8+ you don’t need nor want to see or hear them 😂
