It's March. Spring is in the air. We are looking forward to losing layers and baring ankles.

This is the volume of the hen do and wedding. Will queen manage to get shop to wear penis boppers Grin. And will we all shed a tear when the beautiful blair gets married.

Following on from here

Epic Fail! I will delete my new thread queenc!

LinusDKD · 01/03/2015 19:11

Ahem, how does one delete a thread?

QueenQueenie · 01/03/2015 19:13

Found you! Lovely denim skirt Liberty - My Toast one is unworn as yet and am rather tempted by the one you linked to.... hmmm.
Those Madewell things are very nice - rather like the look of these for Spring slobbing.

libertychick · 01/03/2015 19:23

Linus I think you need to report it and ask MN HQ to delete it.

I have a very big bag packed for the charity shop and TBH more could go.... My wastefulness is quite shameful Blush

LinusDKD · 01/03/2015 19:37

Done! Thanks lib!

OneLittleLady · 01/03/2015 19:39

well, my suitcase is now waiting for m in London. Less than four weeks til I go! Esta all sorted, just travel insurance to sort out now and then working out whats going in my hand luggage

Lib I got rid of so much when I did a sort out last. I still have loads but i genuinely wear it all. I change clothes a couple of times a day as my medications make me perspire A LOT so i have to change regularly to avoid looking and smelling like a crumpled sweaty mess so I don't feel guilty for having lots of clothes, they are needed for various reasons. I'd really like some more red though, I do suit red but I rarely see enough of the right reds to buy much. I can't do tomato or orangey shades, they have to be true reds, pinkish reds or burgundy type shades that are more blue than brown

QueenCardigan · 01/03/2015 19:42

Oh no sorry linus! Great minds think alike Wink

Marking place for later. Thanks ladies.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/03/2015 20:31

Hello all! Thanks QueenC - I feel I may need an honorary name change soon! But surely we won't be on this thread in 6 weeks time? don't make it seem even nearer than it already is!

I've been to the venue today to have my makeup done in the spa with my sister, it was fun! And DP's had his stag weekend which went well.

My mum got a new dress (as the colour experts were with her this time). So her outfit is coming together - Dress, jacket and shoes. Her hat and bag will be navy. Think she's pleased :)

Don't get the Madewell love, it seems expensive to me. Can't they bring US brands over at a normal price?! The teal top is lovely though, and the khaki jacket is the nicest of the things they're selling at NAP.

sleepwhenidie · 01/03/2015 20:34

Lovely new thread, hello!

I have to apologise, I'm not going to be able to make it to the MU after all. First one I'll be missing Sad. I have to go and visit PIL's, haven't been up for ages and it's been tricky finding a weekend. Have a lovely time though.

Anyone read ST Style with flares article? The two writers pictured did not persuade me it's a trend I should go for-I'm not leggy enough (or prepared to wear heels for the cause, heels are meant to be shown off in my book!). I am quite tempted by straight leg white jeans however, first time something has stirred my interest this year. I have managed two whole months without buying anything except a bobble for my hat, I'm amazed!

Karbea · 01/03/2015 20:46

Checking in.

MarshaBrady · 01/03/2015 20:52

Hi thanks for new thread/s!

Blair I'd be interested in Madewell too but they always increase the price too much.

libertychick · 01/03/2015 21:08

Blair it is a shame they increase the price so much. Same with J Crew. V annoying. Good shopping for your Mum, she will look great.

Sleep I didn't read the article about flares but the pictures didn't convince me. Neither of the journalists looked great in them and as they are both slim women with stylists to help it has put me right off! Like you the white jeans article got me thinking... my DH absolutely loathes white jeans though. I have just pm'd you btw.

pm for QueenC too.

libertychick · 01/03/2015 21:15

My wardrobe clear out has revealed I need shoes, lots and lots of shoes! At a minimum I need some autumnal ankle boots, ballet flats and some kind of trainers.

BrandyAlexander · 01/03/2015 21:17

Hello everyone!Smile thank you for the new thread.

Sleep, am gutted you won't be at the MU.Sad

I think I have said I will be there but not for a limited time as I am flying out the following day.

Big work meetings today. Can't decide whether to wear this Nissan red dress or this Armani navy dress or this LKB dress. I have got 3 meetings plus dinner. I am chairing the meetings and need to exude command and control. One meeting is with a very senior person in my industry. I am too, but I am nervous and want to come across as their equal.

Which dress? I shall be wearing this jacket and my RB shoe boots.

libertychick · 01/03/2015 21:23

Novice I would say Armani navy as my first choice or else the LKB dress. I think the cowl of the red dress could be annoying under the jacket and you don't want to be fiddling with your neckline. But the most important thing is that you are comfortable so I'd make that the deciding factor Smile

BrandyAlexander · 01/03/2015 21:29

Hmm, hadn't thought about that with the red dress. You're right if I am fretting then I will be worried about the neck line. Aaargh. I have worn both LkB and the Armani for big meetings so don't know why I am fretting.

Fedupnagging · 01/03/2015 21:34

Found you! Thanks Queen.

Blair so pleased your dm got her outfit - she will look lovely.

Sleep well done on 2 months no spend - is there anything tempting you atm?

Have just done a boden t shirt order and also the ankle zip skinny jeans in white - I need them by end of March and they're on a delay and due in May! I should have ordered them earlier.

Novice I love all the dresses but my vote is for the LKB. And, you are so equal, better even, than everyone else whatever you wear. Hope it all goes well.

libertychick · 01/03/2015 21:37

Either will look fab, I have a big meeting tomorrow too and feeling a bit sick about it. Going to wear Acne skirt, cream silk shirt, Zara jacket, black opaques and Hobbs heels.

BrandyAlexander · 01/03/2015 21:45

Lib, That's a great outfit! Goes together really well. Love the Zara jacket.

Thanks Fedup. The LkB dress has more going for it I think. Will go with that!

Fedupnagging · 01/03/2015 21:49

Perfect outfit Lib Smile

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/03/2015 21:51

Good choice novice, I love the colour of the LKB. You'll be great!

Lib lovely outfit too.

I need to plan an outfit, and go to bed really, I am working at a big new client tomorrow for the first time. I don't want to take my face off though, I keep just taking selfies!

Sleep such a shame you won't make the MU :( once this one has passed we'll have to try and book a date for the next one that everyone can do.

CLASSY Liberty... You may have gathered I LOVE camel and black. And cream silk, so luxe.

Novice Armani for me although I adore the LKB dress too.

Sleep thought of you this evening as I made cauliflower couscous......put raw Florettes in food processor and couscous!!!!! Shock still tastes like cauliflower! needs a sauce. Clever though.

Blair your Dm's outfit is lovely.

Been hurting my brain with this game found at the back of games cupboard. Highly recommend for primary aged children and 40 somethings great birthday pressie idea

LinusDKD · 02/03/2015 07:45

Morning!

Good luck today lib!

And I hope your meeting went well novice (you're probably asleep or on a plane or both atm)

Foul weather here today! Breton, skinnies and bikers

MarshaBrady · 02/03/2015 07:45
