New thread for tonight's episode.

Do you like the decor then? My 'personal' assistant did it.

Gruach · 27/04/2016 19:08

Nooooo SmallLegs!

It's for Miranda!

Bea · 27/04/2016 19:08

Think it might go pat 'n tones way!!

Bea · 27/04/2016 19:10

I hope!! I hope!!

Fink · 27/04/2016 19:12

Miranda: 'This is a very comfy bed. However did you choose it?'

Justin (sotto voce): 'You don't bounce like Lilian does!'

Gruach · 27/04/2016 19:12

I wish any appearance in court could be so vague and waffle-y. She gave no dates, no real indication of Henry's parentage ... Nothing about how briefly he's known that evil cow. Silly nonsense.

Bea · 27/04/2016 19:13

Oh gawd!!! Angry

Bea · 27/04/2016 19:13

Blardy hell!!

ReedBunting · 27/04/2016 19:14
Sad
Gruach · 27/04/2016 19:16

I doubt Helen has any devastation left in her ...

Bea · 27/04/2016 19:16

FFS! I thought this storyline was supposed to be encouraging women to step forward?
This is what happens when you take control! Arrrggh!

HalsallRedux · 27/04/2016 19:16

Even Arsula's brief seemed to realise she was a loon...and what was all that sotto voce sniffing and weeping? FFS.

Fink · 27/04/2016 19:16

'Never mind us, what about Henry Helen?!'

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 27/04/2016 19:18

🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂 place marking 🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖

Bea · 27/04/2016 19:18

Never mind Henry and Helen!!
What about US!!??!! Shock

AugustaFinkNottle · 27/04/2016 19:18

Court scenes really aren't suited to 13 minute episodes. The reality is that the hearing would have taken at least half a day and that speeches on each side would have been much more detailed and longer.

But I still find it inherently unlikely that Anna would represent them at that hearing. So far as I know there are few if any crime QCs who are also experts in family law, and vice versa.

GrumpyOldBag · 27/04/2016 19:22

Gaaaah!

enochroot · 27/04/2016 19:22

I hope by June someone has got Helen to put together the story coherently enough to get Henry back at Bridge Farm.
Has no one stopped to wonder how she was induced to grant parental responsibility?

ElgartheCat · 27/04/2016 19:22

I think that we should listen to Victoria Wood's episodes instead. Sheer brilliance.

"Please don't make any more jokes, Ruth, or I might have to kill you"

ElgartheCat · 27/04/2016 19:23

"Don't correct me Ruth. I'd hate to see David crying at your funeral" - Jill

BertrandRussell · 27/04/2016 19:24

All the legal opinion online is that the only outcome is that Henry would go to Rob. He has parental responsibility and is a completely innocent man. If we didn't know the backstory, we would all be outraged if a court gave a child to the grandparents over the person with parental responsibility.......

Fink · 27/04/2016 19:25

I really hope AT is a better barrister than came across in that episode. Sad

ElgartheCat · 27/04/2016 19:26

When Ruth thanks Jill for looking after Ben....

Ruth - Shall I untie him from the mangle?
Jill - If you'd like to, but it hasn't been the full three hours."

Minimammoth · 27/04/2016 19:27

Place marking. Ear plugs in. It sound like it isn't getting any lighter for anyone.

ColdTeaAgain · 27/04/2016 19:32

Blah Sad had to be expected. Poor Henry.

Wonder if Henry's teacher will pick up on anything at school. If he's stuck with the Titcheners then his teacher will likely be the only other adult in his life for the foreseeable future.
