<sets up projector screen in anticipation of baybee FESH (fish ?) photos>
<divvies up cossie's welcome dinner so skater can have some too>
<watches in disgust as skater takes first dibs on buffet

Oi - save me some of that Stilton! Ona Hovis biscuit, please.
Rots, yes, Olympia and baby. I always go, and tried to think of ways to make sure new baby would be looked after, and the only way I could come up with was to take it with me. Which of course means taking OH. And Clucky is coming too with her OH, so lots of people to palm baybee off onto should it cry and I need to pretend it's not mine
. I took my horse to Royal County of Berkshire show (and came 3rd!) when DD was 5 weeks old.
Now look here - that £66 is a slight misrepresentation methinks. If you go on a normal hack with a group it's only £36, and if you're lucky there's often only 2 or 3 on the ride anyway. The £66 is for a two hour private hack or lesson. i.e. just you and an instructor all to yourself.
<happy to have set the recod straight on behalf of my lovely local stables
>
I am looking forward to hearing all the news from the new FESHes.
And box please check - you haven't actually laid the baybee today and just not noticed, have you?
Hmmmmm tis tempting the Olympia with young sproggle. My ishoo would be finding someone who likes hoss' and baybees enuff to take charge help out when things go Pete Tong. Was not impressed with shopping village last year. Didn't buy a bloody thing.
It seems that I have to be in work early - oh what fun. Not. ESP when it's such a naff reason. In fact am still here now but need go get to yard to turn the horse back out. Tho am sure horsenthinks it's in for the night and will be getting comfy as I type. Don't think i am My nag's favourite person at the mo. Lovely new livery at yard. Fink she is a FESH. Going to ask her if she drinks gin when I next see her!! Will also ask opinion on consumption of booze and fine cheeses whilst diffed.
Holy crap! Have been out shopping all afternoon. You don't think I could have accidently laid it in Sainsburys, do you?
We are going to Olympia on Sunday afternoon, for the FEI World Cup Qualifier, sitting in the cheap seats at the bottom right of the screen when you look at the floor plan. Can't remember exactly which seats though - sorry! I find I need to take a shopping list or I either go mad in the shopping village or wander round aimlessly wondering if there's anything I need.
boxy Perhaps you should double check your shopping bags?
We have had a little breakthrough in group today. It was quite accidental, but Clyde has taken a bottle from MrP!
I was having a rough day and didn't have time for a shower this morning so when MrP got home early and Clyde was asleep (miracle) I begged him for a bath. I had just settled in under the suds when Clyde started wailing. Then... silence and happy noises for the next 40 mins. When I came downstairs MrP made shushing signals to go away. He had the whole thing under control.
MrP said he had the milk a bit warmer (I always err on the cool side) and he let Clyde suck the knuckle of his finger until he was really keen, then gave him the bottle and he only gagged a little bit before settling and taking it. He was very hungry, and a big factor was also me being nowhere around, which is the same as the only other time we've succeeded. My gut feeling is he just needs to get used to it in non-pressure situations, so we'll just keep repeating until it's no big deal.
And I had a lovely bath too - must do that more often.
I'm so excited about tomorrow. I'm taking Bonnie to the saddlers to buy her a riding hat for her birthday riding jaunt. (No I will not accidentally buy myself a Joules top while there.)( I hope.
)
Great news fanny, I think sometimes when we're so close to the situatuin it's hard to see the woods for the trees. G'wan, get a Joules shirt and then book a ride for you too! You've been out of the saddle too long now.
Bear didn't drink much yesterday but still seems smiley and happy so am not too worried yet.
Am so mithered with almost everything right now.
Plump-up the cushions and roll-out the stinky cheese & pate - Box has laid a baybee!!!!!!
All a lot quicker than expected & a whole lot different to last time
I'll leave her to fill you all in on the details.
Holy crap - that was quick.
Just got to get VAG over here and then we're done for September I think!
Was blimmin' quick - was called at 3:30am to pick-up LittleBox and baybee arrived around 6. Wow!
Brilliant!
Always good to hear of easy VBACs! Have you taken the Titian Terror home yet?
Ha ha - the Titan Terror...I love it
She's still here tucking into her Cheerios but will drop her back once Mr & Mrs Box have finished their champers and are suitable sozzled
Aw that is brilliant news about Box! Fair warms the cockles of me heart.
@ Titian Terror. n] What is up Ski? Why you feeling all mithered? Will this plate of out-of-date brie and pate help? And maybe a mojito to top it off nicely?
What about Rastus? We've not had any Tales of Rastus feraaaages!
polly Just generally fucked off with people - and unsure about the future. You know, the usual problems.
I'll have the mojito tho pls.
Small world curly, that girl you said lived in Holland um... actually lives in the town I work in and lives about 23km from where I do. I've fb messaged her to ask her if she fancies going for a coffee one day.
Smaller and smaller world - she's actually from the same village as my family. [boggle] We're in almost the same job and going for coffee later this week.
Yay! Superdoodledoo!! boxy found a baybee in her shopping bags!
I knew it must be there somewhere. Well done m'dear, you may have even beaten skates in the 'had a baybee without any fuss on my due date' stakes!
Hope the midwife got there in time.
So I, er, actually logged on in order to ask boxy questions about riding hats for toddlers.
I'm thinking that answering my questions is not going to be top of her priority list today.<sulks>
We've just come back from a mummy and baybee coffee morning <middle class emoticon> So I have done my share of sociable for the week kthanxbai.
We're back now to the feeding-playing-grizzling-feeding cycle now. Nice and solitary
. Bergerac is on though.
Testing... Think have found way to make crap phone do MN! Had to do summat with all these babies being born! Congrats to box, skates and cos, well pleased for you all. And big thanks to ski for keeping me up to date by text while i was in the wilderness. Ski, i told you you two had a lot in common. Hope you get on. Send my love, i've not seen her in at least 10 years. Hope this post works. Tour of britain continues... Oh and my girl has slept through 3 nights in a row. I think she likes hols!
Thank you curly, she's actually saved me nearly 200 euros today because she's sent me to the registrar's office in Edinburgh rather than dealing with the suits at the consulate!
So glad to hear hols and sleeping is going well - brilliant news!
<watches tumbleweed roll by while waiting for three new Mummy's to come on and share their amazing stories>
<is amazed that cluckykate can read my thoughts!>
I was projectile vomited on at 4.30 this morning. Sweet!
