it was in her garden, I was in upstairs window, she came out shouted at him he scarpered and sat on fence between our houses, she then picked up a football and chucked it at him. I don't knwo her should I go round and complain I am livid
oops sorry about that
I bet it was trying to poo in her garden though which is very annoying
Airguns are far more effective than footballs IMO

its a cat
it needs to poo, so what?
pmsl queen eagle
then you should provide it with a litter tray in your house and train it to poo in your garden not your poor neighbours, I am plagued daily with a fat black cat that poos in our garden despite me trying ever product on the market. It means my children can't safely be let out there until I've inspected it
Joanne, I too would be livid and would certainly go round, if anyone did that to my two I would go made.
It may well be that your cat was going to poo in her garden, but, it is a natural thing that cats do and short of having an electrical fence and barbed wire there is nothing that she can do about it.
she could throw a football at it
she threw a footabll at him FFS luckily it missed
My two have a litter tray in the house which they use on a night, but, if they are locked out during the day then where are they supposed to go, i understand how annoying it, but rather than throwing a ball or other object at it which may hurt it why not spray it with cold water, it won't hurt it and we all know cats don't like water.
I am going to go round and have it out with her, how dare she stupid bithc
Go round and give her a piece of your mind.... I hate people like that with a passion. Does she have pets?
Our neighbour a few doors down throws water over the fence to their next door neighbours' dog if it barks....grrr they should do it to her
I would have thrown something at it if it had been trying to poo in my garden too, and I make no apologies for it. I also have a cat, and if he poos anywhere other than in his litter tray, I would expect my neighbours would throw things too.
I hate cat poo, it stinks and I don't want my dchild anywhere near it.

my mum and dad also have same probs re bloody cats digging up the flower beds to shit. why don't they do it in their own garden?
joanne.. if you feel that you need to complain then go ahead. I would be cross if the football had hit my cat (if I had one).... but at the end of the day you can't force her to like your cat!
did she hit it? If not cant see the problem. I hate cats pooing in my garden too and I quite like cats. Airguns are only good tho EQ if you have a good aim
and cat poo is a health hazard. Wouldnt be happy if dd got poo on her hands when playing in the garden
i knew this would bring all the "cat haters" out,
i personally would go round and have a word with her, there is nothing you can do in your power to stop your cat going in her garden, they arent like dogs which you can control, and throwing something at a animal is well out of order imo
hamster... i'd do the same!
we have a neighbour whose dog barks incessantly ALLLLLLLLL day. we've been round and told them and they have done nothing.
I'd bloody chuck water over it if i thought it'd make it shut up!
Perhaps you caould teach the cat to header the football back to her - you know make a game of it?
I am with colditz, she has every right to throw whatever she wants at it and maybe the football was closest at hand, and she didn't hit it maybe she was just trying to scare it
I certainly know that by the time I've unravelled our hose the fat black cat has always legged it which is most annoying
i have 2 cats but we have a litter tray. several cats poo in our plant pots, yard, outhouse - anywhere they can get to. it is disgusting and dangerous for small kids. throwing water over them is my personal fave but if i have no water to hand i might consider a football - if i meant to hit the cat it would, so maybe your neighbour aimed to miss. if you go round it should be to apologise and offer to clean up their garden in exchange for them not throwing missiles at your cat in future
queeneagle... you're so naughty
Twiglett - she doesn't have every right to throw things at it! It's not her cat PLUS it is animal cruelty. I would be v. upset if I saw someone doing that to an animal.
but very funny too and I ahve to go home now so willnot hear the end of this saga
how is it cruelty if she missed?
