Somone has re-named their wifi to: "My neighbours a cunt"

(169 Posts)

I go to access my wifi on my mobile phone and see the above shock

Is it me they're talking about? <looks over shoulder>

<wibble>

grin

depends - have you been using their wifi?

You'd be surprised how many sysadmin passwords have their roots in uncomplimentary things about CTOs etc!

No I have my own BT Broadband wifi smile

No apostrophe?

shock

Ark. How good is that? One of my neighbour's is called MARGARET'S WIFII!!!!!! Annoys me everytime I use the Internet.

LOL

Reality grin

BelleDameSansMerci Fri 19-Aug-11 11:37:24

FFS! Chaos even... What's wrong with me today?

NevermindtheNargles Fri 19-Aug-11 11:37:46

Change yours to 'my neighbour doesn't understand apostrophes.'

Empusa Fri 19-Aug-11 11:38:10

Hahah, we almost called ours "shut up you noisy twats" at one point

TheQueenOfDenial Fri 19-Aug-11 11:39:15

How wonderfully passive aggressive grin

flaminglip Fri 19-Aug-11 11:39:59

haha. the wifi of one of our neighbours' is "Binky Boodle and Danger Lovecheeks" - No one knows (or is admitting) who it is. Hilarious! grin

Malificence Fri 19-Aug-11 11:42:49

Ours has been renamed MI6 monitoring service grin Should keep them on their toes.

"Binky Boodle and Danger Lovecheeks" - I love it.

'my neighbour doesn't understand apostrophes.' - They would definitely know I was a mumsnetter, if I did that. Although I'm not that great at punctuation myself sometimes blush I was tempted to change mine to "my neighbour has a potty mouth" But I wouldn't know how.

BodyOfEeyore Fri 19-Aug-11 11:43:34

Ace! I want to do it!

Mmmm I'm not original am I? No where near as quick witted as many on this site grin

Oh I love this! Off to see if it takes enough characters for 'would you please stop your builders hammering all day long'.

Glackley Fri 19-Aug-11 11:48:12

Tina Turner - you don't live in the southwest in a coastal town do you?!

Glackley Fri 19-Aug-11 11:49:01

Never mind, I see you don't!

OTheHugeRaveningWolef Fri 19-Aug-11 11:49:55

I remember a friend telling me how a neighbour in his apartment block had unlocked wifi for a while, and named it 'Kate and Bob's wifi - all welcome'.

Then after a while he noticed they'd password-protected it and renamed it 'Kate and Bob's wifi - tragedy of the commons'.

Possibly only funny if you're a nerd, but I'm a nerd grin

DanFmDorking Fri 19-Aug-11 11:50:40

Try re-naming yours to 'Police surveillance van No 2’

LadyClariceCannockMonty Fri 19-Aug-11 11:51:00

I'd love to change mine to 'Do You Have to Go Up and Down the Cunting Stairs Like an Enormous Herd of Elephants in Hobnail Fucking Boots'.

But I fear it's too long.

How do you change your wifi name? I want to do it too

TheSmallPrint Fri 19-Aug-11 11:51:40

Some of these are brilliant but I think I am going to nick Malificence's one. Now, if only I can figure out how to change it from RWncjkpo0183979CFtef to MI6.......

BodyOfEeyore Fri 19-Aug-11 11:52:14

OTheHuge, I like it!
DP is currently at work trying to think up a witty name for ours which will suitable annoy the twat next door neighbours.
