Handsome young men, Ali? Tell me more...

I dread to think what I have consumed when eating 'chicken' in a chinese restaurant. There was the urban myth about it being cat. I am not sure how much of a myth that was.

Just ignore mine. We can always resurrect it. UR was way too fast off the mark for me as I'm still sort of working dealing with Asia. But am going to bed now. So if we keep with this one, mine will drop off the radar so to speak. Handsome young Park Rangers no less who are friends of mine and nope that's all it is. Not time for romance, even if divorce is literally a week away. So this time next week ladies I'll be a single woman .

Oh Ali, just a week away

I, on the other hand, am looking at a yr or two before my divorce will be sorted and I desperately want to be single. Or at least not married to him.

I know it's a tough time though Ali, (hug)

ali, a bittersweet time? so sorry.

UR, had no idea you were in the middle of onr of "those" kinds of divorces A friend of mine had a 2 year one and it certainly takes a toll, doesn't it?

(((hugs)))) to all those going through a divorce. I have my own demons that i am trying to shed, so if anyone has any spare energy to chuck my way I would be very greatful

'friad so, Jabber. It's already been going on for 2 yrs. So, if it ever gets sorted, will take a good 4 yrs which is longer than my marriage. Oh the irony...

You ok mananny? You have my email address if you need to vent. All spare energy coming your way.

Ali, you sure about the thread? We can use the one we don't use now next time. I don't mind if we use yours.

So can you still be on this thread if you aren't an expat and aren't brave???????

I get busy for a few days and come back to a new thread and everything. I personally thing Nutella should figure in to a title somehow, somewhere. I think I will still be bothered by it even months from now.

Good thoughts to people divorcing and trying to divorce and whatever else.

I miss anorak.

I did wonder about the thread title being a little unfriendly to you Citizens. You are all, of course, part of the 'All Those' clique and should indeed post prolifically.

I'm sorry you are still upset by the Nutella thing. I made Lemon Curd today - I was going to use your recipe but then my computer crashed so I had to use Delia's but it's fab. I love Lemon Curd and I never even knew it!

Free and brave by default? I guess I'll take it.

Do you know what is even better than lemon curd? Mango curd.

Is anyone else loving John Mayer? I think I have a terrible teenage crush on him. Jennifer is a lucky girl. Have been listening to his version of free falling. Very good.

Try Lime Curd too - double slurp . Mango Curd. Might just have to have a go at that one myself. So who's going to see Mamma Mia then or am I just showing my age. I remember them winning Eurovision lol.

Oh she sounds lovely, Califrau. Glad you had a good time. I've never really spoken to Suedonim. I don't see her very often. You def get points for an extreme meet-up.

I want to see Mama Mia but since my friends are all having babies (1 as we speak), I don't think anyone will go with me.

Am not a big John Mayer fan. He's ok. No idea what he looks like but given Cali's response, I don't think I'll Google.

I just posted a small baby blanket and a hat to England - it cost $10 It was only a small parcel. When did postage get so expensive?

That's a really good idea, Califrau. I'd have done the same, had the gifts had any packaging. Will remember that for the future though.

I tend to feel the same about gifts - much nicer to get something different from over here to send but at this rate, amazon.co.uk?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21 seem to be the best solution.
