So at 6:30 I have

Loaded and run DW
Loaded and run WM
Quietly tidied front room
Checked mails
Started thread and MNed

Is it possible to disapprove of someone while you are asleep? DH seemed to be glowering at me IYKWIM I got up and made myself useful rather than lying there and feeling awkward. He constantly seems to be disapproving of whatever I do. Ho hum, it's not him, it's me I suppose

Wolf I've checked that book out thanks, looks interesting. I have a pile of books to get through and I'm going to start with this one Don't know anything about it, just loved the title as I know an Edgar Jones who is ingenious IMHO so I had to get it

Hang on, I'll start it now, make the most of my paranoid insomnia

Morning all! Well I had a lie in today - didn't get up till 8.00 am ! DH got up with littlies as I always get up in the night with baby bear.
So far I am dressed , hair kind of brushed and tied back ( really needs cutting ...hmmm...) and am going with my slippers today - shoes were too annoying - maybe one day!
Not much else achieved so far - have had breaky though, and read this thread and my Fly reminders....

To do today:
More washing ( endless task as I have got behind with it grrr)

Keep kitchen tidy as we go along

Sweep halway again in attempt to keep lovely clean floor looking decent!

Quick clean of downstairs bathroom to avoid total degeneration of it again!

Tackle upstairs bathroom.

Attempt to excavate and clean dining room.

Looks a lot, but we'll see. I'm trying to get as much done as possible before DH goes back to work on Monday and school runs etc... start up again.

Right , suppose it would help if I got off here and actually did something!
See you all later. Happy Flying!

Trying to wade through my mountain of washing and make inroads into the general filth and clutter which Christmas has left us with....

Hi Jas - hello everyone

Day 3 of baby-stepping here and have shiny sink and laced up shoes. Gps in clean and shiny cage. Christmas decs still up but much of the detritus and clutter cleared away.

Starting to feel a bit less stressed now I can see the sitting room floor!!

Made most of bright morning to take dd out on her bike but returned to house where every speck of dust seemed to be illuminated by the sunshine.... so getting out my dusters now ...ironing to do tonight.

Looking ahead to baby-step 4 tomorrow, have you all created hard-copy control journals??

Hi everyone.

DH and I have had a big declutter so like Countingthegreyhairs, I can now see the floor. It makes a big difference. Decs are coming down tomorrow. We have a 3yr old birthday party to go to this afternoon.

Hello again

Thanks for the concern for my early start. I am an early riser and I do have bouts of insomnia. I caused me and DH to have to wake at 5.30 and I know he was still unhappy even though he was asleep so I got up.

I read the first few passages of the book (good, it's a while since I read fiction for pleasure so I'll stick with it) then I went back to bed til 11

Had brekkie then fell on my sword and went downtown to get the bits that DH forgot yesterday. Also got some beauty bits for me but I feel it fufils 2 of my resolutions of

More Me time and focus
Less nail nibbling

May have failed on the silly spending tho but hey, got a Ben Sherman shirt (I cannot resist Ben Sherman ) for a quid at the charity shop.

DH is a touch out of sorts today poor lamb so despite 2 hrs out of the house I still have a houseful of chores to attend to

Saga How's your back? Have you gotg a wheat bag, they are pretty helpful for aches and pains.

I hear chores calling, better FLY, byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hi everyone

Thought I would see how everyone is doing whilst DS has a nap (finally!). Am on day 2 of babysteps and got up and dressed, folded up laundry dried last night before DS got up this morning.

Then took him for a haircut (only an hours wait at the barbers this morning...), home for lunch and have just finished the paperwork pile. Off to put laundry away now.

Afternoon all.
Decs are down. Room looks very bare! Just need to drag the ladder out and put them all back in the loft. Putting it off because it will be freezing up there!
Had a bit of a tidy round and can see the floor more now but still piles of toys round the room. Kids rooms need a good clear out then i can put them upstairs. Job for next week when they are back at school.

Hope everyone is ok.

DD's are playing with the marble run at the moment. They were singing and dancing!

Grouchy, I think it is a blessing to be an early riser; my dad always gets up at 6.30 and goes gardening in his dressing gown for 2 hours! (not nec in winter tho..) I am not but am a very good sleeper. dcs divide genetically down middle.

We've been out till now, had lunch in portuguese cafe children desspite moaning and groaning have been climbing trees and running in sunshine. Dd and I have just been on long walk to deliver some flowers but poor little cold hands...

Off to tea with a friend in a hour, very belated Christmas outings now popping out of woodwork.

I just wanted to add admiration to you Tortoise for having children who can organize a marble run and who are singing and dancing happily (mine are now fighting or or or have they stopped??? good) and congratualtions to Littone for doing babysteps.

Swan Thanks DD1 and DD2 generally love being together. DS1 and DS2 are totally different!! They fight and argue nearly all the time. Although they do seem to have bonded a bit over the holidays with their PSPs.

Decs are now in the loft, dog has finally had a walk and i have poop scooped the garden. It was everywhere.Easy to scoop though! It was frozen solid.
