I'm not terribly convinced by this week
The aim is to keep outside pollutants outside of the house with the following methods:
- Have a no show policy inside the house - remove your shoes at the door and keep fluffy socks and slippers for guests (causing MNer friends and family members to start AIBU threads about you )
- The "buffer zone" where you remove shoes should have flooring that is easy to clean, is resistant to moisture and doesn't collect dirt and dust.
- The buffer zone should have: a shoe scraper for mud and snow, an outdoor mat to wipe shoes on, an area rug that can be washed, a waterproof shoe mat or tray to collect water when it's raining, a bench/chair to sit on when removing shoes, an exhaust fan to ventilate and avoid mildew and mould (wtf?), hooks for coats, baskets for bags and an umbrella holder.
I'm going to use this week for something else personally!
Previous weeks to carry on with are drinking more water, getting routine activity, getting more sleep, keeping a food diary and taking a multivitamin.
