Bah, I'm having a little panic - my little sis is 36 wks pregnant with first child (IVF) and has been taken into hospital today, with chest pains, high blood pressure, vomitting. They are not sure whether she has pre-eclampsia or gallstones. They are going to keep her in overnight and do a scan this afternoon to try and diagnose. Baby is fine though, thank goodness. I think I may have to resort to cleaning the house this avo so I don't worry think about it too much.

Am lurking like a lurking lurker. Am currently slaughtering a chicken and draping self in glistening entrails to ensure diffment of Scorpy.

Your poor sis poo! Hope she's ok. It would not be so bad if they have to deliver at 36 weeks though, would it? I was born at 37 and turned out ok. Well, that's debatable, but you know what I mean. I'm not actually sure how they handle pre-eclamp. It's not something I've read up on yet. Either way, I hope she feels better soon and it's not too stressful a time for you all.

Thanks Gasp, I'm sure she will be fine - like you say at 36 weeks it shouldn't cause too many problems if baby comes early. Just a bit worrying in meantime. I can't just go and visit either as we are an hour and a half away and Iris is now in bed (probably for the next two and half hours - preschool wears her out!).
