As for doing the OPK tests, I have an old bowl that's chipped that I use! 🤣 It's a yellow colour so it's my golden ovary bowl! 🤣

CD21 here! Supposedly ovulated around CD14, so all 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Anyone else testing soon?

I'm 38, TTC baby number 3! Already have two girls, 8 and 5. I'm on CD1, first month of trying. No idea what to expect but would love some buddies to go along with.

@M4v3r1ck I’m about CD12 so won’t be testing for a while here but not feeling great about this cycle already. I’m not having much luck with ovulation sticks although I probably need to hang in there using them for longer. Just feel crap about ttc in general and the old question ‘when will it be my turn’ keeps popping into my head. I had a D&C 8 months ago and can’t help but wonder if that’s stuffed my body up somehow.. I’ve had tests and scans done since which all came back normal but can’t help but worry. 😔

I’m 37 and ttc our third as well 💖 We have two boys, 6 and 3 (although they will soon be 7 and 4), which I’m incredibly grateful for but can’t help but think someone is missing in our family. Do you ever worry about the gap between your youngest and a new baby? I think about that sometimes..

Yes totally worry about that and how it will all work but I think every child whether first or 6th brings their own challenges. I think our girls would love to have a baby to mother! Definitely on my mind though and still wonder if we are doing the right thing.

I made a mistake on previous post, I'm 1 DPO not CD1! We've dtd 5 times in the past 6 days, my husband is shattered! Lol.

@Farfaraway1 if we eventually manage to get pg and stay that way there will be a big gap in between ours, my two are 14 (almost 15) and 16 and my partners two are 13 & 14 so one together would be like starting all over again lol but age gaps aren't and issue myself and my brothers and sisters are currently 47,41,39,30,26 but we have always all got on great!

@Feanorous glad to know I’m not the only one! I do have days where I reallllly wonder if this is really a good option for us.. but at this point the desire to try for one more baby is outweighing those thoughts.. my boys would love a younger sibling too. I’m only CD12. Laughing about your husband 😂 he’ll be in recovery mode now 🙊 are you an early tester or will you be waiting until AF is late?

CD2 here and calling this our first “proper” attempt post-mc. DH and I will actually be together for a good few days before expected surge....so prolly means my ovaries will freak out and chuck an egg out a week early 🤣

As an aside met a woman at work yesterday who had her first at 43 with zero issues. She said it happened the month after they went for an IVF consult so she assumes her ovaries were appalled by the cost of treatment and got themselves moving before it could start!!! 🤣

I’m TTC #1 and so far very zen about it. I’m mainly thrilled to find a bloke I actually like enough to breed with! 🤣 I figure whatever will be, will be. I have two stepkids with him and an niece (with another on the way) so I’m trying to give nature the best possible shot without it becoming too all-consuming. (Easily said, right?!?) I think because I’ve never wanted children until now perhaps it’s easier for me to remain calm. But I do find it all very exciting!!! X

Damn, I've got another positive test.. Not sure if today or yesterday morning is darker? Was hoping for a faint line yesterday, to be confident ovulation would be today and therefore only one BD more needed. Tonight will be 4th in a row..

Anyone know what two v v similar tests 2 days in a row means in terms of ov date?

I think your most recent one looks like your peak! Have you tried using one of the apps? I use pre-mom & easyathome. You take a photo of the tests and it calculates the level of LH and then shows your peak. I get quite a long peak with lots of highs which can be confusing!

@climbershell sorry hun - can’t give you any advice but that last one looks the most positive yet?! 👌🏼 I’m having no luck with my sticks as yet, still waiting for my positive but I’m CD12 so I guess it’s still coming..

I guess the other positive was 17:30 yesterday, so see what it's like after work today!

I use prenom but often doesn't auto get levels perfect so have to edit and adjust

@Farfaraway1 thank you, we are all really close so I just don't see age gaps as an issue, although initially I never wanted large gaps when I had my two that's why they're so close in age.

@Geriatric1234 loving the story about the ladies appalled ovaries!!

@climbershell I'd guess you're just in the realms of high - peak and as you ov 24-48 hours after the peak of just carry on dtd for the next few days but it can absolutely be every other day rather than every day if you'd like, some studies say that's better for sperm health anyway

@Geriatric1234 I think I may have mentioned this a few posts ago but no harm in repeating. My sister in law got pregnant at 43 by pure chance! She and her husband were not using any protection, thinking that at their age it won’t happen for them but it did! It really is down to luck sometimes with all the stars aligned.

@climbershell yeah, maybe late. It was before I got acupuncture in Feb, was day 17/18. Then last cycle day 14, now nothing so far. So one month off from acupuncture and it’s back to being late, or not coming. The lack of EWCM is weird though.

Started taking my anti anxiety drug, not putting it off anymore because I’m getting really anxious over ovulation.

CD21, 11dpo and feeling totally awful today. I usually feel this way in the run up to AF, so I don't think we're lucky this month (cycle 5 of TTF).

Does anyone else feel like this before AF? Totally exhausted although I slept well, lightheaded, dizzy, legs feel like jelly, can't concentrate, heart fluttering and irregular breathing. Happens every month!

I was getting some intense PMS symptoms like that for a few months @TTCat39 and I wonder if the B6 helped last cycle (first on it) because my PMS and AF lead up was a dream last month compared to the ones prior.
