The femmes fatales of the BESH are lying back and thinking of England

As witches and pumpkins become old hat, the BESH are scrubbing up well in salute to James Bond in general and Skyfall in particular. Put on your slinky cocktail dresses and stiletto heels, grab a Martini, and start schmoozing with well-dressed secret agents.

Insta-diffs will be shot with a quip but without a qualm. Anyone else wanting to join can dodge a few bullets post the BESHtionnaire.

Oh come on, it's got to get full soon.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid Sat 24-Nov-12 10:48:04

Are we nearly there yet?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid Sat 24-Nov-12 10:47:51

When?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid Sat 24-Nov-12 10:47:45

When will the thread die?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid Sat 24-Nov-12 10:47:35

WHO WILL have the last word?

MissSlapAndTipple Sat 24-Nov-12 10:34:18

thank god for that. I was starting to get nervous that we wouldn't have a safe haven to escape too. I'm not witty enough when it comes to starting threads

To be honest I'm just relieved not to have to hold my stomach in to look half decent in this bloody cocktail dress. Sorry Mr Bond.....time to let it all hang out in baggy cammo gear grin

HavingALittleFaithBaby Sat 24-Nov-12 10:19:59

Well done frankus! smile

Sorry folks, I got twitchy about how few posts were left on this Fred.

New one here

bluer Sat 24-Nov-12 10:03:07

Hey Dorothy congratulations!
I do quite enjoy camping but it is most def mrDF thing...I never camped til we met - this year with the weather etc I insisted in a week Paris which even the arrival of the Droid on day two couldn't ruin! That was my one chance its back to camping next year... <secretly happy but I get brownie points for pretending hardship>

FriendofDorothy Sat 24-Nov-12 09:49:44

Fresh meat? Sorry to arrive late to the party people... I also noticed the new girl likes camping. She can be my friend then.

Quick intro, I am 38, TTC for 20 cycles and then got lucky after having an HSG and having my tubes hosed out and a quick round of Clomid. Currently 37 weeks pregnant and feeling like a Guernsey cow.

I occasionally pop in here because I like to keep up with my friends, I remember how shitty is was ans is and want to be available. I am trying hard not to become a baby bore.

bluer Sat 24-Nov-12 09:19:50

Hey norfy thanks for the welcome. That's one hell of a journey you've been on!
<settles back with her 9mm and waits for the carnage of the new Fred>

Northey Sat 24-Nov-12 05:22:59

Oh. There were lots more posts. Weird. <confused>

I shall just shag a spy in this inflatable dinghy for a while till i am airlifted to the new fred.

Northey Sat 24-Nov-12 05:19:04

Bloody hell aries. And I thought I was a buttoned-up sort. I would never ignore someone crying at the dinner table, ffs. They need a good kicking. MrA can just have a gentle toe prod, as he is otherwise very acceptable.

Hello bluedabadee (ancient musical reference). I'm northey or norf. Unprotected sechs for eight years. Official medically supported ttc since Christmas 2009. A whole raft of operations and drugs later, all I have to show for it is two ectopic pregnancies that have destroyed one tube and damaged the other. Just been approved for ivf funding and waiting for my confirmation letter.

I quite fancy a spell at MOD one day. They're mad as a box of frogs over there, I hear.

feefifofum you have an unfair advantage when it comes to spotting naked men at work. A bit like aries and her exotic sea creatures on the outdoorsy top spots fred. No-one else (ie me) ever had a chance, offering up cute ickle lambs against her pods of baby porpoise doing synchronised swimming.

EuroShagmore Fri 23-Nov-12 23:28:58

I expect by the time I log on tomorrow, there will be a new fred, so I shall don my slinky thigh high slit gown, have my little bond girl pistol in my garter, step elegantly into my vintage Aston Martin, and zoom off to prepare my bunker.*

*This is not a euphemism.

evilgiraffe Fri 23-Nov-12 22:36:43

I can't believe I didn't get it instantly. All that racing talk SHOULD have been a clue... Clearly I'm not cut out for espionage, perfect timing for a new thread!

<waves goodbye to secret volcano hideout and fancy rooms full of gizmos and flash cars>

MissSlapAndTipple Fri 23-Nov-12 22:33:11

The apocalypse of the thread is upon us #####NO ONE PANIC#####!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MissSlapAndTipple Fri 23-Nov-12 22:31:53

Evil you aren't alone, I didn't realise for a while when I joined!

FrankelDeBeauvoir Fri 23-Nov-12 22:29:53

Blimey evil, late to the party much?! wink yes, 'tis I! <whips of false nose in dramatic fashion>

grin

Stuck at work having shocker of night, posting quickly on phone but can't start new fred from here sorry - anyone.else?

evilgiraffe Fri 23-Nov-12 22:22:35

Oh! Frank, you're CAVE! I know you! <penny drops at last> my god, I am thick sometimes.

blue, I'm a relatively new BESH member, but have been TTC for almost three years. There is nothing wrong with either HOTB (him on the bike) or I, in theory, but after having a few long droids I had another ultrasound which says I have rather cysty ovaries. I'm going for another scan in a month's time, so fingers crossed all is well. I'm also desperately trying to get my BMI under the magical "30' threshold (which is proving difficult despite it being very close) so we can be referred for IVF in January.

Also, facebook informs me that HOTB's oldest friend had a baybee this afternoon. Very nice, I'm sure <struggling to drum up enthusiasm>

HavingALittleFaithBaby Fri 23-Nov-12 22:20:06

How is your Dad rie?

bluer Fri 23-Nov-12 22:13:03

Oh Frankel you good looking beast....very nice I like horses smile
Sinky...been trying nearly a year but I have messed up cycles that they thought was pecos but the last time the gp thought not...my progesterone levels are now another issue! No idea about my man (whom I shall call mr damsel fly or mr DF ) but we get the semen result next week...nervy but excited to know. I know its not been as long as most of you but as I'm on the cusp of further investigations I will listen and learn!
