Over the last year or two we've had a thread for those who are Just Shagging. Confused by OPKs, too lazy to temp, can't read a chart to save your life? Not quite ready to forgo the Wine? Well stick with us!

Of course it's been SO successful that we're down to a tiny handful of regular posters, as everyone else has graduated and we'll ignore the fact that those of us that are left are probably way beyond Just Shagging. But it's an ethos rather than a strict rule. Come and join the fun .

No rules here, other than EWCM is hereafter known as Pant Snot. AF is known as the Evil Red Tide of Doom (ERTD). Viroids is our name of choice, the reason is long since lost in the annals of time. If you really feel the need to take a test, Gu Ramekins are what all the classy birds are using. And of course, drinking is essential. Sometimes, we even remember to have sex

So don your shag capes and throw your legs in the air caution to the wind :)

Well this month I'm just shagging because we are going to be in the USA for a week and temping would just be too complicated.

I'm on cycle 10 and fed up with it all now.

Hope you don't get them mixed up then! . Mine appear to be breeding, it's not that I buy lots of them, honest . I keep one randomly in the bathroom for peeing in. But I have to be careful as for some reason my cats like to drink out of glass containers, in the bathroom . So there is always one full of water for them, I need to make sure there isn't a mix up...

I have lost count of the cycle I'm on. It's over 20. Which isn't a great advert for Just Shagging, now I come to think of it! But it's worked for everyone else. I'm still, despite all that, too lazy to take more pro-active steps than have sex.

Oh nothing worse than guests during Shag Week! A previous Viroid was successful by having sex on her bedroom floor whilst relatives were staying (quieter than the bed apparently), so there might be something in that?

Too much shagging? Official answer is No, there's no such thing but actually I'm kind of pleased OH is away for the rest of this week

Well done to your DH, hope he is enjoying a well earned break. I thought Mr Nelly would love all the shagging, but turns out the myths aren't all true. I have to give him plenty of warning that his energetic services will be required during shag week.

Aha I've found my home! I get so confused about the whole chart opks etc and yes I do still like a drink. On cycle 7 and (AF) ERTD arrived today.oh well more shagging for me then.

I have been lurking around the conception threads for a while wondering where I might fit in. I still totally don't understand all the abbreviations that's for sure. I'm liking (ERTD) much more than AF which I still don't know what it means?

I am ttc dc%233 on cycle 2. I have Two DS's. So far we are definately just shagging! The ethos sounds great!

Don't worry QTpie, I'm ancient slightly less favourable in fertility terms too. Still trying for my first though. Sigh. The good thing though is that shock horror we are still enjoying the sex. For which I think I have the JSers to thank!

We're tying rather lazily for DC#1 and I came off the pill 2 months ago. We can't be bothered to do temping, charts and timings etc just yet, so we're just going with the flow. Sounds like this is the place for me!

Am I still allowed in Nelly? I'm technically not just shagging because I started IVF but now I'm doing IUI, but in that respect, we are just shagging because it's just for fun, not to make babies

Scan went better than I imagined this morning, my lining is plenty thick and I've got 2, yes 2, follies measuring 15-16mm each so I'm in for IUI on Friday afternoon!!! I'm sooo excited!!

We're ttc number 1, this is cycle 7. We're in ShagFest week this week, AND I've got school holidays (teacher alert!) so I'm wearing DP out good and proper. He thinks all his Christmases have come at once (well, actually I think he'll be pretty glad when I give him a break, poor love)

I have temped and opk'd off and on but can't seem to quite get it together so mostly we have been Just Shagging.

Nelly (I have a trigger shot tonight. I have the two injections at 9.30pm as normal, then DH will have to wake me up at midnight tonight to give me the final HSG shot, which will be the last injection of this cycle (hopefully forever!)

Is anyone else here a hormonal mess? I've just cried in the supermarket because DP walked off from me mid-sentence. I think I'm going slowly nuts...

CupofBrownJoy I cried in B&Q (where DH works) not so long ago because I wanted to buy a rug but wasn't sure it would fit, so DH 'helpfully' pointed out that we could bring it back if it was too big/small and I got upset because the rug would feel unloved I feel the need to point out that this was before I started the ivf medication!

Actually I find I'm slightly less crazy now. I think I'm less moody and my DP grudgingly agreed.

I am spotty and podgy though, so that makes up for it I think!

I have a biology question:

My main problem is that I seem to be having a strange AF, this is only my second one off the pill, the last one was only about 4 days long and light which is short for me, but this one seems to be about 1 day and very light. I guess I just haven't got in to a rhythm yet, but they are regular at exactly 28 days long

I'm wondering whether I'm actually producing eggs. I thought I had ovulation pains, but I'm doubting it now. Or maybe I'm low in a particular hormone which tells the womb to thicken?

Any ideas?

Pickles, I came of the pill last summer (for other medical reasons) and my cycle was all over the place. It ranged from 13-28 days and has now settled at 23 days. When I went to gp to check this was normal she said my 4 days AF was fine.

Re-reading my last post thought I would point out my typo too, am ttc dc3 not 223! Or whatever in put! Only second month of trying so not stressed about it yet.

Sorry Pickles I'm really not sure what the answer to your question is - I'm a sufferer of week-long slaughterfests

Josie how does your DP react when you get all teary? Mine ranges from angry and sulky (when I'm being shouty and horrid) to quiet and confused (the tears). I think I'm hell to live with at the moment...

I'm not a temper or an opk gal (only recently figured out what that meant) and I'm sat here with a glass of vino on the 2ww so I'm thinking this is a thread I can relate to!
