I have a friend staying for the weekend and I am desperately trying to hide my madness from her but I am thinking she might be starting to notice that I keep disapearing to hide in the bedroom and take my temperature for the fourth time today!

I had my mc on Christmas Day. Was about 7.5 weeks. I've had an mc before but this was one was more unpleasant (if that's possible). I'm doing ok though. Just really disappointed and have turned into a crazed woman who needs to get another bfp asap!

Ah, we all do that ochaye although as time passes it doesn't seem as all consuming as it did in the first couple of cycles, IYSWIM.

I have a bottle of fizzy that we were going to use for bucks fizz at breakfast today but neither of us could face after polishing off a bottle of champagne and two bottles of wine between us last night ] so will add that to the mix.

Thank you to those who've been asking after me - I'm doing pretty ok at the minute. I have my moments of course like everyone and I did feel a bit sad last night - even though I was glad to see the back of 2010 it felt like I was leaving my baby even further behind iykwim. But I think I've got my head around ttc as a long term thing not a quick fix, and I do feel really positive about this year. I honestly believe it's going to happen for us, it's just going to take time.

YRMOTB yes I'm definitely up for the detox...have got almost a stone to lose I reckon so am going to join weight watchers or similar next week with a friend, and even thinking of joining the gym . Will have to keep each other on the straight and narrow!! Anyone else fancy joining us?

I bring many leftover mince pies and some dodgy cheap Amaretto from last night... not sure if I have a hangover today or DH's flu!

Started taking EPO & 100mg of B6 in attempt to steady everything after mc and feel as tho I'm making an effort.

Anyone got any experience re sticky blood? I had a borderline positive test for cardiolipin antibodies and have weird neurological thingy/suspected MS - but had DS2 in between my 2 MC's so not sure if this counts as recurrent?
Neurologist said to take baby aspirin every day, which I'd forgotten about entirely till coming back on MN so will start that up again anyway just in case.

So to all the new joiners. How are you? I can imagine how raw the last few days must have been - compulsory fun-nights, celebrations, bitter-sweet 'at least I can drink' thoughts, when actually you just want to be secretly holding a non-alcoholic fizzy something.

Sooo, I'm feeling a bit blue because right now my mood is directly linked to my waking temperature and it took another dip this morning.

Next month, I am NOT going to temp after ovulation is confirmed. I swear. It just does my head in and I'm pretty regular I know my period will either come 10-12 days after ov is confirmed, or it won't and if it doesn't I'll test.

Will that be my New Year's resolution? part of trying to relax a bit more about the whole thing. And direct attention where it's needed by the people and things that I have, rather than what I've lost.

lady SNAP I was just thinking today that after I've had a good 5 or 6 high temps after ov, I'm going to bin the temping and test if AF hasn't turned up after a fortnight. It's too much of a roller-coaster ride to see what direction temps are going in, and I don't think it's very helpful or useful really. Also, I think what you were saying about not focussing on the past is really wise - I will also give that a try too.

nix are you about? I am feeling super guilty about earlier and so I'd like you to come back and sit down over here - I have trifle if it makes it any more appealing???

MIL is a hypnotherapist and she's going to do some positive affirmations with me tomorrow - really really keen to try and consciously replace negative thoughts with positive ones and see if it helps.
