Oooooooo lovely new thread! Well done MrsW!

So nice to see you all in our shiny new home.

Lanky I'm at the bar and serving pornstar cocktails - I'll get one of the waiters to keep a plentiful supply going to you, cave and anyone else on the bean bags.

I think this thread wants to give us lots of August BFPs!

Not much news from me ... definitely about to ov so I'll mostly be busy distracting Mr Garden from work. And I KNOW it is really sad that I remember this but it was three years ago today that we got engaged so I am hoping the baby fairies will be kind to us.

Cheers!

mrswajs love what you've done with the place. really hoping this lucky thread rubs off on ya.

gardenpixie no need to slave away at the bar. i'm sure we can find some hunky guy to do that for us! hmmm maybe jacob from twilight . happy 3 year engagement anniversary how lovely!

Hi garden congrats - 3 years today I am sure those baby fairies are headed your way. We got engaged 3 years ago this month too, seems like ages ago doesn't it? I so hope you're right and this new thread lavishes us with BFPs aplenty... fingers crossed.

I'll get the fit PT instructor from my gym to tend the bar kkas he is a TREAT! I think I made myself dizzy by going too fast in spinning this morning trying to impress him bring on FERTD.

This is a nice place to hang out for lunch... maybe we could get a little high stool/breakfast bar action going on?

Back again. Can someone pass me a drink please - plenty of umbrellas and cherries on sticks a la Del Boy if you don't mind!

Pinklady sorry about FERTD turning up, I hope you're hiding in a stable steam cleaning rather than out in the rain cutting the grass.

gardenpixie get cracking on the SWI-ing!
On the anniversary front it will be our 2nd wedding anniversary next month so I'm hoping we can get cracking on the TTC at that time!

lanky no real news on DH's posting at the moment but Afghan is looking less and less likely! Yay! We should know for sure in the next few weeks.
Seeing as you asked so nicely I will nip off and get the link for the house we are viewing. I'm posting on my iPhone so have to faff about trying to get the link.
Back in a mo!

Awww flick hug hug, we are all missing you here.

Try to ignore the fact you don't like her or you'll obsess (she says, speaking from experience!) and try to relax and have a good time instead, enjoy all the lovely food and wine YUM.

Maybe your sneaky egg is using stealth tactics and wearing camo gear this month try not to stress about it honey.

this is it

It is in a village we really like but had thought the houses were too close to the top of our budget, but now that this house has had £20k knocked off the asking price it is more affordable.

It is expensive but we are looking for a house that we can raise a family in (I've told DH I want 3 kids!) and also have room for guests so it seems pretty much perfect!

[waves] to Flick sorry that France is not going great. If no sign of ERTD yet keep tucking in to the red wine!

crazy we're seeing it Saturday evening. Every time I look at the pictures my stomach does a little flip too! It's a smallish village about 15 mins drive from where I work (I currently live a 5min walk away!) the only downside is that there is no shop in the village, but I can live with that!

I just hope that if we like it we can move fast enough to get it!

Forgot to say to MrsWajs I hope the thread is lucky for you - and everyone else!

crazybutterflylady · 04/08/2010 14:04

Meh, Ocado delivers!

I am so excited for you, I have everything crossed! Is the village called Scotland End? The house is so lovely, I am totally swayed by the decor too though because it gives it such a lot of character. I am one of those people who should never look at houses because I would buy them based on wall colour

Lots of luck! x

Florin · 04/08/2010 14:47

cavemum that house is beautiful you have to buy it and the decoration of the nursery is so gorgeous! flic so sorry to hear France isn't as good as expected, I know what it's like to be stuck with some you don't like on holiday it can start to feel very claustrophobic! Hope you can make the most of what you can and looking forward to you getting back!
I am definitely in for one of those cocktails need something. Just starting 2ww which I hate although will keep swi for another couple of days just to be sure!
Looks like few people due to test soon so must be time someone got a bfp soon!

Report
MrsWajs · 04/08/2010 15:14

Oh cavemum the house is beautiful!! What's £365k when you have a house like that to show off house your wee family, the mini kids kitchen is ace (although, assuming you won't get to keep that ) Love the name too Oh I think I might actually want it for myself!! The upstairs landing is probably the same size as my kitchen!!! I say you should just buy it - NOW, go on, off you go, buy, buy, buy!!

Eeee - got a bit carried away there, anyway just so you all know crazys PT instructor and Edward and Jacob have all been enlisted for bar duties so gardenpixie you can now relax and can get back to shagging and the rest of us can sit here and drool

Flick Lovely to hear from you sweet, sorry France isn't going aswell as expected. There's nothing worse than being away with someone you're not too keen on! Just try and enjoy it as best you can and don't give up on SWI!! I know I've made the mistake before of thinking I'd ov'd and hadn't - stopped SWI and ended up missing it altogether!! Your bodies probably just re-adjusting itself and it will happen!!

Florin good luck on your 2ww, hope it's not too stressful for you.

FERTD still hasn't appeared for me but I can still feel it lurking, just wish it would hurry up so I can arrange appointment with Dr!! I'm dresading going back to work tomorrow as I am being sent to a completely different hospital to cover a ward I have never worked on before - psychiatric/challenging behaviour of all places Not very happy about it. If I wanted to be a psych nurse, that's what I would have trained to do!! And on top of that if FERTD appears tomorrow morning I'm not going to be abe to phone for an appointment! Grrrrr, disliking the NHS today.

Hey ladies, glad we now have sexy nubile young men to serve us cocktails! Must see if I can replicate that in RL!

Flick sorry you are feeling a bit blue. It's really horrid sharing a holiday with someone you'd rather just smack in the face with a kipper. I hope the wine is taking the edge off it.

Definitely keep up with the SWI-ing just in case.

Cave the house is GORGEOUS! Buy it immediately! So lovely and homey. And what a great space too. I will keep my fingers crossed for you on Saturday but am sure you'll love it. GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS

MrsW Sorry about impending FERTD and new ward. Grrrrr to the NHS indeed.

Florin boo to the 2ww. I hope you are managing to stay sane. I'll be joining you in a few days and have promised myself that this month I WILL NOT obsess. No I won't, not one bit - apart from the fact I am already subconciously noting possible pg symptoms even though I am only just about to ov

How are you doing crazy? Hope you're OK and not being driven nuts by poas?

Big waves to everyone else!

Mr G is just on his way home from work (I am watching jeremy kyle working from home today) so I'd best go and get some SWI-ing sorted out ...

Report
crazybutterflylady · 04/08/2010 16:04

nope, I have been exceptionally restrained and not peed on one stick since Monday morning. I will NOT poas until Saturday, unless of course FERTD deigns to rear it's poxy head.

How long do I wait before seeing a Dr, if no show and no BFP, anyone any idea??

xx
