A good move!?!?

The man who pissed money up the wall in London and got stuck on a zip wire waving a Union Jack

Yeah let's send him over to the Middle East for tricky negotiations and the like hmm

VoyageOfDad Wed 13-Jul-16 20:05:38

Christ on a bike.

BearFoxBear Wed 13-Jul-16 20:06:03

MajesticSeaFlapFlap Wed 13-Jul-16 20:06:31

Dick move

It's like giving the job to prince Phil

VoyageOfDad Wed 13-Jul-16 20:06:39

Maybe it was the best way to get him out of the country.

KarlosKKrinkelbeim Wed 13-Jul-16 20:07:51

the only thing I would do with Boris Johnson is push him off beachy head.
Perhaps the plan is this; give him prominent job (which, pleasingly, will involve him in lots of working out how to handle brexit which he tried to run away from, miserable pissing coward that he is) to appease brexit contingent, let him screw up (as he inevitably will), then have a excuse for kicking him into obscurity permanently?

DailyFailAteMyFish Wed 13-Jul-16 20:08:35

Doom

sue51 Wed 13-Jul-16 20:09:00

He doesn't seem the diplomatic type. Big cheer for booting gideon out

Brokenbiscuit Wed 13-Jul-16 20:10:33

Bizarre choice. What a national embarrassment.

Cocoabutton Wed 13-Jul-16 20:13:03

I agree with this. I think she knows what she is doing. All the Brexiteers have left the stage; someone needs to be accountable, otherwise, when it is a screw up, she will get the blame as PM and a remainer. The minster for Brexit needs to be a Brexiter too (hopefully not Gove...)

KarlosKKrinkelbeim Wed 13-Jul-16 20:16:16

yes.
One thing we know about Mrs May is she plays a long game. And the other is she doesn't give anything away. She knows she has to pacify the rabid Brexiteers; she has to neutralize Boris; if she wants to steer us away from total meltdown the brexiteers have to be ultimately discredited. best way to do this is give the job to someone 100%, cast-iron guaranteed to fuck it up.

VoyageOfDad Wed 13-Jul-16 20:20:44

😫😳😩😫👎🏽🐷

Maybe she'll get him to invoke article 50 and then sack him.

Cremolafoam Wed 13-Jul-16 20:22:20

He will provide smokescreen so we have no idea what Hammond and may are up to

ginghambox Wed 13-Jul-16 20:22:24

David Davis- Brexit minister good choice.

mzS1990 Wed 13-Jul-16 20:23:16

Is Boris pro immigration, as I keep reading?

lljkk Wed 13-Jul-16 20:24:14

Wait a minute... does that mean Govey will head up the Brexit negotations group? Which will force him to work with Boris. Now that WOULD be delicious to watch.

LittleBearPad Wed 13-Jul-16 20:24:31

Oh I do hope this means he has to sort out this mess he's created rather than just comment in the Torygraph.

Can you be For Sec and a columnist. I can't imagine so.

Excellent he's £250k a year poorer too.

WidowWadman Wed 13-Jul-16 20:24:56

Seems people abroad are as bemused as we are... Take a look at twitter.com/SPIEGEL_Politik/status/753305643809959936?s=09
