What clothes would put you off a potential partner?

Inspired by the ‘What three items would you never wear?’ thread in AIBU - is there an item or style of clothing that would put you off if you were looking at someone as a potential partner?

I've just walked past a man who was wearing a ‘If found, please return to the pub’ T-shirt. This and all similar variants (‘In case of emergency please insert beer’ with an arrow pointing upwards etc.) would kill any lust for me. I’m sure there would be people who think it horribly judgemental, but I just know this would be the type of man who’d enjoy prank shows, Unilad and ‘epic bantz’.

Anyone else?

Grey joggers and track suits in general, but grey joggers with a matching grey hoody makes anyone look like an overgrown baby.

Vests
Sports branding such as Adidas written across a tee

FaFoutis · 04/08/2019 19:43

Polo shirt with the collar turned up, or anything related to football teams.

YES. ALLLLLLLLL of that.

I really hate the shorts/loafers with tassels thing.

Also, red trainers (with any outfit). Just, why???

EdWinchester · 04/08/2019 19:44

Claricethecat45 · 04/08/2019 19:45

Soola · 04/08/2019 19:45

Cheap clothes, ill fitting clothes, slogans, y fronts, crumpled or creased, neon, metallic or shiny/wet look. Grin

I always thought that the jeans my last ex wore were very odd looking but I couldn’t put my finger as to why they looked so awful.

Funny enough near to when we were splitting up he let slip that he only wore boot cut jeans.

I nearly fell off my chair! Those hideous things are bad enough on women but a man wearing boot cut jeans! It made me hate him even more.Grin

ScreamingValenta · 04/08/2019 19:46

Trainers and any sports clothes (unless the person is engaged in sport at the time)
Those undersized jeans where the crotch is round the knees
T-shirt with supposedly hilarious slogan on it (unless I actually found it hilarious).

I love a band t-shirt, though!

EdWinchester · 04/08/2019 19:46

Football shirts as casual wear.

takemetotahiti · 04/08/2019 19:46

3/4 length trousers with toggles
Vest tops
Football shirts with a beer belly!

Picklypickles · 04/08/2019 19:46

Jogging bottoms/tracksuits, skinny jeans, pointy shoes and pretty much anything that makes him look like A Dedicated Follower of Fashion. I'm not into men who look like they're trying too hard, reeking of aftershave and primped and preened to within an inch of their lives!

BoswellsBollocks · 04/08/2019 19:47

Smart shoes with jeans
Full kit wanker

Tacky slogan t shirts
Trousers that hang down past their bum

White/beige trousers
And so on and so forth
