My brother was on about it earlier he only watches cos he fancies TB).

He said T got the little boy to spoon his own food up by offering a sticker but as soon as she left the parents to it, the dad picked up the spoon and started feeding him again.

Dunno how she doesn't thump some of them in frustration.

Yes - they have a week to work miracles, then they're out on their ear to mess it all up again!

24 yoghurts - hysterical! Makes me almost want to watch it. Almost.

"we've tried nothing, and we're all out of ideas!"...

I have not seen this one. What I can't understand is that if they decide to go on the prog, because they have probelms, whyc don't they follow the advice they are given?

If they think things are OK, why go on the prog? If there is a probelm do they think it will get better all on its own, without them changing their behaviour with the child.

Strange

it's always the parents though isn't it

It does make me realise that if someone had filmed me in the first few months of toddlerhood with my first child, I would have to watch the film back cringing in the corner at the mistakes I made.

fox, yes wel all make mistakes, but we do catch on, don't we? these people seem to lack the confidence to assert themselves with the kids in any way. Sad tbh

I would love to go in there tbh. Wouldn't want it filmed though, wouldn't want everyone to see just how awful we are LOL.

They always end up bawling their eyes out (the parents that is).

I haven't seen this week's - am going to have to turn it on now to see polyester kids.

"Family Two: Ian, Tina and Max Wilson

Problem: Eating

Goal: To get Max to eat a varied diet

Max Wilson?s problem is that he eats almost nothing but yoghurt and even then this is only two brands and only certain flavours, which have to have certain pictures on them. He eats up to 24 yoghurts a day, which means that Tina has to also give him formula milk to give him vitamins. If they are very lucky, Max will manage a couple of spoonfuls of egg fried rice or peas.

If they try to put food to his mouth Max covers his face. He can sob so much he coughs. By the time they give in and give him his yoghurt, he can be so worked up that he is physically sick. Between the ages of six and 10 months old, he ate jars of baby food and tried a lot of other things. When they began giving him yoghurt he started to refuse almost every other kind of food.

Tina says he describes food as "dirty", but says they don?t make a fuss if he spills food and don?t clean it up until he has finished. Max has a fear of getting dirty and will cry if mud gets on him, but Tina and Ian do not seem to have established a link between this and his problems with food."

how old is Max? (have you noticed how a lot of these eating problem children are only children?)

I haven't seen the program but I have sympathy with twin woman because having to deal with 2 at bedtime is probably not much fun and I can see huge potential for it to all go pear shape.
