Hi I am CoolToned and I'm an addict.

I have several leather jackets - they look very similar - and yet I catch myself looking at new ones online.

The first step is admitting that there is a problem.

Who else is with me?

Me, I've 3, black, burgundy and grey (the last two bought within a few weeks of each other ). I'm really eying up a navy Baujken one that someone posted on here a few weeks ago. Also keep finding myself having a browse on TK Maxx as surely if it's a bargain it would be rude not to? Must put down credit card.

My name is ChinUp and I don't have a problem. I can stop any time I want.

I have four - navy blue, off white, teal and chocolate brown. I gave my hot pink one to my cousin who annoyingly looked much better in it than me. OK, OK, so I also wanted to earn brownie points with my DH who was a little concerned that I supposedly had a lot of leather jackets.

I have 7 and still searching for a grey one but seriously no addict here.

I have several too.
Two are suede bikers, softest suede, one in a lovely orange that works equally well in summer as in winter, the other a lovely shade of moley brown.
Then a pink leather biker in a shade of pink that is difficult to describe, pale but not sugary pink.
Then a black leather biker, and a collarless black short leather jacket with minimal hardware.
Apart from the black leather biker (which I reserve for off duty, gigs, etc) all the others are worn both casually with jeans/skirts/dresses and with more tailored trousers/dresses for work.
They are incredibly versatile so I no addict, I guess it depends on whether you do wear them and to me they never go out of fashion.
I do set myself a £ limit to maximise cost per wear ratio, so don't spend more than £250, prefer to spend below £200 and tend to buy mine at sale time.
I am done with buying "special occasion" dresses which only get worn once or twice, whereas the right leather jacket (though I draw the line at leather coats) could also be worn beautifully with the right accessories in the evening.

I tend to go for very fitted styles, butter soft leather or suede. They are so versatile!

I am still looking for the perfect cream/off white leather jacket and was also thinking blue or red might be fun.

Looks like the biker jacket trend continues, though colour rather than black, but having said that I would never do without my two black leather jackets they are incredibly useful!

I'm Justilou and I am about to transition from denim jackets to leather (should have listened to Barbara Bush!) I too, have T-Rex arms. Find it very difficult to believe that I wouldn't need to take the sleeves up.

I'm an ex addict, was obsessed with seeking out leather jackets black, tan, chocolate brown even bright red! At the height of my addiction I had 7

I wasn't content...there was still one I wanted, one that I'd craved for over 5 years - the Balenciaga classic, my dream leather jacket. I finally caved, sold all my others on eBay, sold a kidney and my grandmother and bought it.

Best money I've ever spent, it looks amazing with everything and literally transforms all the rest of my old tat. I am cured!!!!

wheat yes you can just pull the sleeves, I'm only 5'3" so in theory petite, I buy a lot of my jackets from Muubaa as I think they are reasonably priced (in the sale at least) and mixed with a bit of jersey easy to pull up sleeves, but even without jersey they do mould to your shape with wear...might be worth look at petite leather jackets, I am sure they must be available

For new leather jacket people looking at entry level: I was looking at Mango as they have some great prices see links in the article I posted earlier, nice colours and a bargain at £120...I have never tried Mango though so not sure of the quality of the leather, I might buy one as it's free returns for orders above £30...

Janet I keep looking at the designer ones with longing so I totally get where you are coming from (last time I looked the outnet had some fab cream/offwhite ones) Link to the Balenciaga lusciousness?

It's soft as butter and kind of moulds itself to my body, this is my leather jacket for life so on a cost per wear basis it's actually a bargain

Janet its just beautiful! Its timeless so if you wear a lot absolutely worth it, I have mainly Muubaas and yes I wear mine an awful lot, plus they're so easy to pack (I travel a lot with work) and good buttery leather.

Has anyone ever tried Mango leather bikers?
Bargain and lovely blue and red bikers without much hardware...a bit surprised at the low cost which makes me think the leather might not be as soft as my beloved Muubaas....

That burgundy is so gorgeous, Rudy, I remember being obsessed when Rosie Whatsit wore it a couple of years ago.

Muubaas are ace, I got a bitter chocolate brown in the sales one year, an amazing bargain especially given the quality of the leather, ridiculously soft. They're cut really well too, very neat and flattering.
