i spent a whole hour trying to be able to view any threads, all of the 'talk' section was blank

aargh, i thought it was my computer

<snurk> doesn't bother me atm! can't tell if its broken or not as the font is too small for me to read but the buttons keep moving- wtf?

Google Chrome was borked from about 5.30am to at least 8.30am (went to work then, so don't know when it came back).

Like it's not miserable enough at 5.30am...

I obviously mean MN was borked while using I was using Google Chrome.

I use firefox and I couldn't get on from around 8.30 (think that's when I first tried?) until 9.40 - when I went out). Was working when I got back - but was definitely not loading the talk section.

Actually there were quite a lot of us - status updates all over my FB news feed saying "WHAT'S HAPPEENED TO MN". - we were all worried sick

Catherine there is no way to undo any 'threads you're watching' in classic, hasn't been since it changed. Also the post and preview tabs keep moving about, at the moment my preview tab is on rh side and post tab underneath!

Why can I not see anyones profiles anymore? Its been like this for days now.

the lunar, you have to click on the underlined poster name. If not underlined there is no profile.

Threads I'm watching only shows the thread title and not any new posts under it - is that permanent?

the add message button isn't working, did you know that? and if you're going to have such a teeny box for posts, you might as well put the post and preview boxes back to the side as they were good for cutting down on scrolling i thought.

the new one, the one on every post. it's a great idea btw. and weirdly, the post message and preview messages are sometimes by the side of this box and sometimes below, depending on whichever board you're on.

How come we've got "add message" here>> now? Will that not just encourage an irritating new breed of posts which say "I have only read the first fourteen posts and then became so outraged that I had to take noisy issue, even though the point might well have been made several times by the subsequent forty posts which I effectively ignored by clicked on this new-fandangled Add Message button"?

Really? It does on mine. Perhaps I should scour the boards to take umbrage...

And now the post/preview buttons have moved AGAIN. Please stop messing with the site, it's getting annoying. I have got used to all your previous changes mainly without complaining, though sometimes letting you know something which isn't working, but this is silly.

Also, I used to be able to click on a topic name (on threads in Active convos) and get straight to the topic. Now I click on it and get to the thread (don't want to go there) and then I can go to the topic.

Please, can we have the old MN back?

And now the post/preview buttons are purple again.

Please stop messing about with it.
