New thread time! Great timing with it being new years day...

Most of you know what to do... off you go!

Just in case you don't... just chit chat all your dating related stuff here. If you are new, just jump right in to the blethering. More the merrier!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! grin

Scooby Not a nice position to be in, he has been a bit unclear in my opinion.

If it was me and I thought alot of him, I would give him a few days space, then call him. I would need to know for certain one way or the other.

Hope you can work it out smile

Scrazy Sun 06-Jan-13 20:34:38

Scooby, good luck, I hope you get the response you want but if not then you need to have the full picture to begin to move on.

scoobydooagain Sun 06-Jan-13 20:32:37

Cheers, think I will drop last sentence as thought it was a bit PA but true! Will send as I am already thinking its over, so even if not good answer I will not be in worse position than I am already in.

MsArsebiscuit Sun 06-Jan-13 20:28:25

I think that sounds good, Scooby, just be sure that you're feeling up to coping with whatever his response may be, hopefully it's that he's had a dose of the New Year blues but it's unfair on you if he doesn't make his position clear. Good luck.

Scrazy Sun 06-Jan-13 20:24:59

Scooby, I would leave the last sentence off. The rest is fine. You do need to sort this out, and this should get a response.

scoobydooagain Sun 06-Jan-13 20:14:17

Hi, can I ask for some opinions please. I posted yesterday about my BF asking for time as his head was muddled. Thinking of sending this (thanks Bant for much of it)

Hi, I know you asked for some time as your head is in a muddle. I am happy for you to take some time but I would also like to meet up or at least speak on the phone to talk about things. I know talking about the future can be a bit worrying, it scares me too but lets talk about stuff as we do mean a lot to each other. At the moment I think I have been dumped by text by someone I have been seeing for 6 months who I love and respect and I can't even begin to describe how that feels.

Scooby xx

Any views?

Right, I've finally got the for finger out and sent some messages on pof. Now we wait.

strokes cat, menacingly

Movingforward123 Sun 06-Jan-13 19:10:08

Hey everyone

Well I've been back on Pof for a couple of days and I feel slightly annoyed already! The guys I like the look of are all bloody fitness trainers which equal meatheads!! confused

I've given two guys my number and both of them asked me to whatsapp them pictures within the first couple of messages!!

What happened to polite chit chat etc confusedconfused

I'm never going to meet anyone I like on there!

watchoutforthatsnail Sun 06-Jan-13 19:05:09

after my last one, who also lived with his mum, its not something im going to do again either.
When i think he had a single bed, his mum cooked, shopped, they had a cleaner for the housework.... talk about no responsibilities. I want an actual grown up, not a man child.

the knob is now firing questions at me, even though ive not replied....

VelvetSpoon Sun 06-Jan-13 18:58:04

watch can you reply and say something like no, you just felt sorry for him?!

What a knob.

I was talking to DS1 earlier about his real dad and also the Evil Ex (who DS calls dad) and realised both of them were living with their parents when I met them hmm. As were several other Exs, and a few of the blokes I've met OD too - including Cuthbert.

I think one of my resolutions for this year is no dating men who live with their parents......

48howdidthathappen Sun 06-Jan-13 18:57:57

Have fun lubey grin

WarmFuzzyFun Sun 06-Jan-13 18:53:56

Not sure if previous message I sent posted. Am trying to catch up but it is slow going on my phone. I broke my laptop sad

I am on page 54 of 99.

Have cleared the emotional decks in readiness for entering OD throng in Feb. Although not feeling very anything at the moment. (new year doldrums)

Hope to catch up with everything by thread 35.

watchoutforthatsnail Sun 06-Jan-13 18:52:43

good luck lubey, have a fab time smile

ive just had this wonder from a 35 year old man on match, living with his parents....

'thanks for replying, you must think im good looking'

there is, unfortunatley, no block button on match.

VelvetSpoon Sun 06-Jan-13 18:47:39

good luck lubey hope all goes to plan smile

watchoutforthatsnail Sun 06-Jan-13 18:34:31
