Do schools still use this? I remember it from school and when I sing it in work like you do no one knows it and thinks I'm crazy which I am but thats besides the point :)

I remember it - but then I was born in the 1960's when Dr Seuss was all the rage. I even have a whole songbook...

I didn't realise it was Dr Seuss until I searched for it yesterday.

I was born in the 1960s and don't remember it at all - but I like it! Whats the tune? Where can I find it?

I only remember rude ones, like 'red white and blue, dirty kangaroo' (hid behind a dustbin and did a number two). I think I learnt that one at my brief visit to a primary school in Australia

I remember it! Though only the first verse. Think I heard it from my Mum. I do get rather faces from DH if I sing it though.

It's from a book called 'Appuskidoo' ?spelling . It had other great songs such as 'when father painted the parlour' and 'fitba crazy', 'morningtown ride'

It was a school song book in the seventies
