hello new mummies!
well i am still on a high and can't sit still. christmas has taken over our house with an unbelievable amount of gifts. what with new baby stuff too i think we might have to move!
have breast problems but sure i am not alone. think it could be an infection as can't go outside as the cold hurs my nipples too much.
hope someone looked at my pics of ds1 and stanley!

went to docs yesterday and have nipple thrush. nice hopefully cream will help.
have only left the house briefly during the last few days. cold plays havoc with nips and think too cold for stanley. he got his first toy to the head from his big bro today.
nearly jan. come on babies!

sounds nasty! Hope it clears quickly for you as the babies can get it in their mouths and then re-infect you. oh this baby stuff is great fun!

lovely to be bored! Get out all those Jilly Cooper novels that were too heavy to read while commuting!

i know shouldn't complain as when stanley wakes up it will be bedlum. i'm a socialite and not good at sitting watching telly.

qumps, have you got a sling? they are ace to be out and about with, just pop a babygro and a nappy in your handbag, and go out! Almost as if you don't have a baby!

Report
LenniEd · 09/01/2009 14:38

Well I'm certainly not bored - baby feeding constantly since birth - arrghhh! Does translate to plenty of MN time though - yay! Sling might be way forward here too - was hoping for some sleepy newborn time to recover before having to dig that out. Oh well, will navigate the weekend from bed first

Ah the breastfeeding Goddess stage. Luxury bed time [although obviously working hard at the same time meeting nutritional and emotional needs of a whole new life- mum'm mulitask so well].

How long you reckon you've got before it's up and out and into reality? Seem to remember this bit lasting months with dd1, am guessing might be different with dd2.......
