It's the pitch at which they can cry it gets a mother right in her stomach it doesn't do that to the dad's well if it does it's not as bad.

God yeah. It weird moments about that time I remember like it was just before Christmas and dp had to start a new job to let him get some sleep because ds was crying I took ds downstairs. He always wanted to feed a she was a big baby and I can remember sticking him on the boob and turned the remote to sky movies and that 80s film Casual Sex was on it was about 4am I was half asleep and watching it thinking how bizarre!

I remember being absolutely incensed at the lack of gratitude of tiny babies (it's amazing how loopy you get in the middle of the night and sleep deprived).

If someone had bathed me, changed me into clean soft jamies, wrapped me in a blanket, fed me, sung me a song.... I'd have been properly grateful and would have gone to sleep AT ONCE.

On second thoughts, maybe it was my singing that was the problem?

Nail on the head with that Cod.

My stomach luches into my mouth when one of them wakes up early.

I have the stomach lurches, and in the past week have also cried with DD2 with the lack of sleep. Cod I know what you mean about the babies being awake then you hear the toddler coming...
