Fed up of the cuts? Fed up of the mislead bigotry? This is your sanctuary. Unwind. Vent. Pop over to the frothers thread if you feel like getting organised and doing some proactive stuff or just chill out with a cup of builders tea in a polystyrene cup.
Welcome.

<saunters in>
Can I have a burger with extra cheese please?
I can't do it much more today, spent lots of yesterday doing it and now want a break but it's all on TIO and some people are being just...I dunno.
I made the point on one thread that people are READING posts from people who are struggling to feed their family and people keep - ignoring this? Is it that they're ignoring it or that they just don't fucking care.
Going to hide some stuff I think.
<boggles>
oh see now this is a thread i can feel comfy in.
I am getting seriously tired of repeating things to closed minded ignoramuses
it is because they don't believe it Shirley. They simply cannot fathom that someone doesn't live their life in their town.
I have just asked in site stuff to combine the threads.
They could call it 'the final solution'
<pushing my luck>

I'm with Hully, we should round 'em all and shoot 'em all. It will solve two problems in one. 1) there won't be no more benefit bashing threads 2) they'll all be dead so all us feckless folk can apply for their jobs.

haha Paggy!
The best bit I've had the last couple of days was being told that if I'm so worried about people on benefits I should donate some of my wages to shelter.
. This was after I'd said that I earn well below the cap. double x
When you're dealing with people like that - well, <shrugs> what can you do?

Oh oh, can I bring my roll mat and have a lie-in demo? I'm particularly fond of builder's tea and could murder a bacon bun.
Can we have a brazier? I've always wanted a brazier.

Oh and then I was asked why, if I hate right wingers so much, why do I want their taxes?
I mean, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? How fucking incredibly dense and THICH do you have to be?
I have called quite a lot of them cunts. Not all got deleted. <proud>
Why don't they feel this level of anger about corporations dodging tax though. And fucking Bono.
It is the turning on anyone you perceive to be beneath you that is so awful. They are the people who hurl abuse at my son.
I often ponder this, the desire to find someone you can look down on. Where does the empathy, the sympathy gene go?
Is it that when life is hard you want others to have it harder. Is it just rats in a box?

We can have a brazier. Cox and Cox do a nice one.

It is, Pag, it is. That's what really, truly scares me. Because we know where that can go.

I think tax avoidance might be beyond their tiny little brains. Much simpler to pick on the little people because the Daily Fail does half the work for them. All they have to do is nod along, like good little sheep.
yy
Pag, I still can't believe that people really truly actually do that. I mean, I know they do, but I can't BELIEVE it.
You would think, if anythign, that people would look at a homeless person, or someone struggling in a B&B and count their blessings, not hate them...
Please post on my site stuff thread.
I really would like them all rounded up combined.
My brain is crying.

Brain washing Pag.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - the media are invested in retaining the status quo. They're not going to run stories about what's really going on because that might mean that we rise up - and bearing in mind that We ARE the majority - well, it doesn't bear thinking about.
