I dont get fed up with being cuddled etc but do get fed up with being used as a road for cars, tractors etc. DS has just driven a tanker over the top of my head! (not a real one!)[GRIN]

The hanging on to me gets me...all my jumpers are longer on one side than the other...
and being made to carry 14 soft toys down the stairs...

i sometimes get fed up with the 'Mummy can i have', 'mummy i need' or 'mummy i want', they usually start this as soon as my bum has touched the chair, also, they decide they want a cuddle when i get comfy with a book.

At the minute I feel shocking, got terrible cold, and will they leave me in peace for ten minutes? will they buggery Grin

Yes, I think if you are a very hands on mother it is easy to get all touched out. Nobody wants to be cuddled and messed with all the time.

I don't like being walked on , literally

talked at ..yes yes
especially when two (or more) all demanding exclusive attentionat the same time
MUMMEE LISTEN TO ME LOOK AT ME NO ME I AM TRYING TO SAY SOMETHING BE QUIET DS MUMEE MUMMEE
etc
patting also rather irritating
particularly whilst trying to eat
but cuddles are lovely anytime, also hand holding

I don't usually get fed upo with being patted and guddled from the girls though i have to say, once they're in bed and i feel that my body is my own once more, if dp cuddles me i sort of sigh!!(in frustration unfortunately- i love him but i guess i'm all cuddled out by then)

Talked at, Good Lord yes!
DD1 has just turned 5 and could talk forever. Only this morning i was saying how good milk was (a girl in her clkass told her it's not good as it's full fat!!Shock ) and dd said, 'are we arguing about this or are you just going to leave it?' I hate cheek but did smirk at that!Grin

get annoyed with the pulling of my face when I don't look at them straight again. Get fed up with the 'MUMMEEEEE, I NEED YOU, MUMMEEEEEEEEEEEEE, DS Just hurt ME, MUMMMEEEEEEEEE, MUMMEEEEE, MUMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. And yes I get fed up with the cuddles (but only when I have a headache and feel poo)

I love it but then again LO is only 14 months. Love it when she comes up to me and launches herself at me. Then again I bet she gets a bit miffed with mummy always demanding hugs and kisses and daddy!

I get patted, have my hair 'lovingly' pulled, have there arms wrapped around my legs so I amd dragging them across the room when I walk.

"Mommeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Michaels hit meeeeeeeeeee"
"Mommeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hes done it again"
"Mommeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hes doing it still"

Look into the room to see him standing right next to his brother and Michael wants him to move (not the point i know - he shouldnt be hitting but why didnt he move??)

Now they are whining and moaning and I am ignoring them. I do not want to look at bloody Sarah Jane in Higgldy Piggidly house, I do not want to laugh at Justin being a prat. I want peace and quiet. Am a mean mommy.

Love the cuddles but not the 'rugby-tackle' ones - lol WharfRat!
HATE the snot-trails on my clothes afterwards...

Cuddles are grate but with ds they often turn into weird half-nelson killer holds, or weird grabbing and twisting of handfuls of flesh

If he were somebody else's child I would think he were neglected. As he's my own I know he is, a bit Sad

I am definitely not the happiest mum in the world, and DS is only 18mo, but being spontaneously cuddled is one of the few things I do enjoy about being a mum.

But then DS is entering that cute stage before the terrible twos strike Wink

It's the talking that gets me. Especially when both of them are at it - in stereo. Ds1 bombarding me with bizarre and esoteric questions about everything under the sun and ds2 wittering on about all people with beards are very rich, aren't they Mummy?

"Mummy...Mummy...Mummmeeeee!" And those awful words "mummeee...where ARE youuuuuuu?" [I'm having 5 minutes on MN please leave me alone]

I do feel a bit like a mother gorilla sometimes with small people crawling all over me. And yes, Angeliz, my heart sinks a bit too at the end of the day when dh muscles in for his share when I'm all cuddled out. But it's the whinging which really p's me off - I've been known to lock myself in the bathroom to get away from it.

a cuddle a day is the best, even if you do have to rugby tackle your 6ft 1 smelly 15 yr old ds first! Cuddles rock!! Grin

cuddles are great but my 13 month dd's just entering a very clingy stage where she'll hang off our legs and scream til she's picked up. luckily most of it's aimed at dp as i'm pregnant again and couldn't manage to carry her around for hours on end like he does.

proper hugs are great though Smile

No, you can never over-do cuddles and kisses.

It's like saying you can over-love !!

I still breastfeed my 20 month old DS, which involves loads of cuddling (a third person is involved in these episodes, DS's very tatty brown teddy Smile : )

Because he gets loads of attention he doesn't have to ask for it which is why I think he is so independent.

I have heard loads of rubbish from some people including close family saying that bf over 1 year makes a child clingy.

In fact I think the opposite must be true because he is so totally NOT clingy.
