YUM. Just heard a teeny tiny snippet and had forgotten just how much I loved/love them.

I also have a EBTG tune to thank for getting me and DP together, in a way.

Her voice is just fab. I can't think of one I don't like.
Must dig out my albums and have a listen tomorrow.

So would you recommend the book then yeah?

showing my age I liked Tracy thrne when she was just that and went to UNiversity with someone who was at school with her when she was in the Marine Girls (apparently they were shit and couldnt play any instruments but even then Tracy Thorne stood out)

Oh that song "Missing"... I had a huge crush on someone and that song was the sort of anthem for it. Happy memories

I can remember two versions of everything but the girl. I loved their first single but forget what it was called. (Really cool 80's tune) Then they changed line up but were still good.

Missing is the song that got me and Dp together. We were good friends, he wanted more and I was desperate to stay single. We went sep ways for a bit. Then he was Djing on a radio show, said 'nothing like washing dirty laundry in public' played that and I rang the show. rest is history.

Oh, no, the ultimate 'We broke up, I'm hitting the vodka' song would be Yazz, 'Midnight'.

Or 'Only You'.

I like walking wounded very much indeed as well as early stuff

I love the lyrics of Oxford St, in particular

I'm so pleased. I thought this was going to be a thread saying how rubbish people thought they were!

I love them. They're fab.
