OnlyANinja Wed 01-Feb-12 17:22:14

I don't have any children but I'd love to have some chocolate porridge...

DilysPrice Wed 01-Feb-12 17:23:42

Mmm, warm chocolatey breakfast goodness - tis very chilly in the mornings here.
For the DCs you understand - in no way for me.

Indith Wed 01-Feb-12 17:27:13

Much as chocolate porridge would appeal to dd, she currently has bog standard porridge pretty much every morning and I am not introducing her to the idea of chocolate breakfasts it would spell disaster!

MyLifeIsStillChaotic Wed 01-Feb-12 17:29:30

I'm with Indith - there'll be no chocolate porridge in this house!

MrsChemist Wed 01-Feb-12 17:31:16

Done.

I do like a nice bowl of porridge, and the idea of chocolate porridge is intriguing.

AtYourCervix Wed 01-Feb-12 17:36:16

Done. If I could find anything they'd eat for breakfast I wouldn't care if it was chocolate, Broccoli or Caviar flavour.

MrsChemist Wed 01-Feb-12 17:37:30

DS enjoys porridge too, obviously.

babloogirl Wed 01-Feb-12 17:39:39

GrownUp2012 Wed 01-Feb-12 17:56:43

I'd love to be chosen for this one. The kids love this breakfast already, and they'd both quite like to give their opinion on it.

TheLittlestNarwhal Wed 01-Feb-12 18:09:23

Done, thank you. Porridge - yummy ; Chocolate - yummy ; Chocolate porridge - grin grin grin !!

boredandrestless Wed 01-Feb-12 18:10:37

Done. Hope we get to try some!

When I make actual porridge the DC often have it with a spoonful of chocolate spread but as I'm horribly lazy and rushed on school mornings we get the sachet versions so they can DIY. I'm sure they'll be overjoyed at a chocolate flavoured one... smile

Tortoise Wed 01-Feb-12 18:13:55

Done.
My DDs love chocolate spread stirred in their porridge as a treat. Would be interesting to see if chocolate porridge is as good.

Tortoise Wed 01-Feb-12 18:15:23

Phew, glad I'm not the only one to do it! grin
