I know Im not the only one.
I cant even be arsed to name change, here goes.
Nervous fanny.
You know when someone falls - hard and cracks their chin or elbow or whatever, my stomach drops, I get a shot of anxiety that shoots through the pit of my stomach down to my fanny. Right in the middle of my fanny I get a horrible feeling of anxiety.
Its only started in the last few years, its really unpleasant. Its like a bolt of aniexty, and I ONLY get it when someone hurts themselves. Wtf is that all about?
Anyway, what weird shit does your body do? Confess.
Oooh I get that, it's a horrible feeling. It usually happens when I see someone fall.
I have freaky shrinking feet
I used to be a size 5, then one morning I woke up to find all my shoes were too big. I went to a shoe shop and the only size that would fit me was a size 3
I went to the GP, who said it was possible my arch had raised on both feet (and I do now have a very high arch)
Yes! I hate it - I get it when I feel like something terrible is going to happen as well.
I get the anxiety in my wombish area so see where your coming from with the fanny thing.
I sometimes shoot spit out of the bottom of my mouth not loads just a little - a bit like a cobra. I dont mean to do it, it is involuntary. Not too sure if it is normal......
milk Me too! I went from a 7 to a 5.5 or a small 6.
Glad to find it's not just me!
ahh yes i get that if i am up high.. i'm actually OK with heights apart from it makes my fanny go funny.
Sometimes when I turn my head quickly I can feel a nerve slipping over the bump in the back of my head where my skull begins IYSWIM.
Immediatly after this happens I get a 'hot' feeling in the back of my head which comes up quickly and subsides in about a minute.
Its weird
You're all freaks!
hands I get that too very occasionally, I think most people do.
My feet grow everytime I have a baby. I have to stop having kids or I'll have a clowns feet as well as clowns pocket.
I get the cobra spit thing too, mostly when I do big impolite mouth-wide-open yawns. I remember my friend crying as a kid because she thought she was morphing into a snake - I think she'd been watching too many Tales of the Unexpected
Since I lost my nipples one of the things I thought I would lose is the sensation of my nipples feeling the cold then going hard but now I get the sensation in my boobs that travels along the pedicle (The bit inside like a rope that the nipple and areola was attached to) the onto my non existent nips but when I touch where my nips should be I have no feeling. Strange.
I can't look at anything to do with eyes and if i watch or see something to do with eyes I can't help but scrunch my eyes up really tight and feel all weak.
I sometimes suffer with nervous fanny too
GreenEyes.
MadamFolly I get that too - it bloody hurts.
I get an itch on the sole of my right foot EVERY night in bed without fail
It never happens during the day and there's no mark, rash or lump.
The doctor thinks I'm just being odd because obviously doctors know everything and because she has no explanation I must be imagining it
It's the type of itch that moves too, I can never seem to get it, just end up chasing it around my foot for an hour until it goes away
user I hear that happens with limb amputations. Phantom feelings, because the brain still thinks the nerves still 'go' there. Or something like that.
When I pinch a certain area on my left aerola I feel it on the outside of my right thigh - just as if someone's pinching there. Never admitted to that before cause I'm sure it's not normal!
Cookie you have just reminded me. All my life I have occasionally had an intense itch somewhere (different place each time) and I'll scratch and get no sense of relief from it, and realise I havent quite got to it. Then find out the itch was actually in a completely different place. For example it felt as thought it was on my hip but actually it was on my shoulder blade.
Also, I find if I scratch somewhere it will set off a nerve somewhere totally different. So if I scratch my shin, I get a funny feeling across my rib cage.
I dont think Im explaining that too well, but I know if someone gets that too they would understand what Im on about!
Yay!!! I thought it was just my family that had the weird height/pain fanny/bottom feeling!! My mum thinks its our evolution from monkeys and our tails trying to grab hold of the branch before we fall!!!
. I obviously believed her....
Also I get that weird itchy foot thing on one foot! I had obstetric cholestasis with both DC and its just like that so wonder if it is hormonally linked?!
Same sally
My fingers sometimes go cold when i'm holding a steering wheel. After a long drive, two of my fingers go white.
I am yet another nervous fanny sufferer - it must be quite common! I also have vibrating fanjo syndrome - my vulva buzzes like I have a mobile phone ringing on vibrate down my knickers and I can assure you I do not have a mobile phone down my knickers... I sometimes have buzzing arse cheeks too
Sallysparrow - you have just had me pinching myself to see if the same thing would happen!! It didnt!!
Thanks for starting this thread! When anxious or uncomfotable about something, i start getting a burning sensation running along my left side over and over again, when it starts i cant stop it, sometimes i try rubbing my side to alleviate, but it will only stop when the foreboding situation changes.
When i explain to people tney think im mad
it feels like acid running down my side. <praying somebody knows what im talking about>
I get an itchy foot often at night I just assume it was because I was hotter at night, in bed? Ive never given that thought before actually.
I throw things involuntarily.
I also get the high up nervy fanjo thing, I love the monkey tail theory.
Auntie B, is it your middle fingers? I get that too. I think it's to do with nerves in your wrists getting squeezed... I've had it since I was pregnant on DS2
