There seem to be two new threads started so I thought I would just add myself to this one...

There were some interesting choices on the last round so looking forward to seeing what comes round this time.

I've a nasty feeling that my book arrived today, but I missed it - had one of those cards I was only out the back hanging the clothes too, not like I was having fun or anything. Oh well, hopefully Saturday. Am running a marathon on Sunday so I'll deserve the chocolate

I have no book! I know I am not really in a position to complain as I am so often late in posting - but I am lounging here on the sofa and suddenly fancied some chocolate, which made me realise no book (or chocolate) had arrived.

Anyone heard anything of JohnWorf?

Dysgu, sorry - I've just seen this. Have you got a book yet? Let me know, and I'll email Johnworf, but I'm sure she sent me an email ages ago to say she'd posted. I hope I've given her the right details to post to...

Dysgu I have messaged JohnWorf and it was posted over a week ago. Looks like Royal Mail are on a go-slow.

Thanks aristo - it can take a bit of time to cross the water and the ferries have been cancelled because of the fog a few times so I will just wait... (and continue to send DP to the shop for chocolate!)

I'm just about to post of this month's offering to you Dysgu. For some reason, two books turned up together (I had a note saying one is early) so you've got 3 altogether ...hoping they all turn up!

At the start of November:
I should have Aristocat's book
SLF should have LolaLadybirds's book (I sent it off today)
Arti should have my book
ItsJustaFleshwound should have SLF's book
JohnWorf should have Arti's book
Dysgu should have ItsJustaFleshwound's book
Aristocat should have JohnWorf's book
LolaLadybird should have Dysgu's book

Do we all have the right books, or is someone going in a different direction?

I am away from home right now so I don't know if any books - or little cards - have arrived in the past couple of days. However, nothing had arrived before we left on Sunday so I am not sure what is happening.

I will be home late on Saturday and if JohnWorf's book has arrived I can send it straight on to Aristocat (although will take out chocolate and replace...)
