im at hoome with 2 of my dc

blood just gushed, red and my tummy is cramping

epu wont do anything will they, pg too small to see anything

I think you should take a couple of paracetamol for the pain (ok to take in pregnancy I think, though if not, someone will be here quickly to correct me), put a pad on, wrap up warm, maybe have a hot drink.

Have you got a hot water bottle to cuddle?

The EPU will scan you to check it's not ectopic. If you are miscarrying they will maybe take some bloods and then do another set in two days to check your levels are falling appropriately.

They may want to rescan in a few days if you are miscarrying to check it's complete.

Can someone mind your dcs while you get down there?

oh bugger see how the bleeding goes.. perhaps contact GP , if it is a miscarriage you might need scanning to ensure nothing is retained which could lead to infection and if it is not a miscarriage, to see what is going on . at 5 +3 will be v v difficult to see anything now.

So sorry for you. Unfortunately I don't think the GP will do much...he may tell you to rest as much as poss and to contact the epu for an appt in a week or so.

I'm sorry you are so scared and upset, I hope you will be okay.

Can you ring him? I assume you have texted him if you are hoping he will see his phone at lunchtime. Why not ring?

I'm sure given the cicumstances you could phone his work and get a message to him. Paracetemol are fine during pregnancy.

Definitely get a hot water bottle.

he is builder nad keeps phone in his van

he is coming home

i asked my friend but there is no one else to look after her pub. he will be about 30 mins

shall i ring gp for afternoon appt? he is v good gp
