dates suggested- 17th Nov, 24th Nov or 1st Dec? Majority vote wins.

Where? Cocktails in Ebony in Durham from 7/7.30 ish then on to wherever can fit us in with an 8.30 booking within tottering distance from Ebony. My vote would be The Capital Grin.

Cocktails- Woo!

I'd like to avoid 24th to fit in with bloody football.

I'd also vote for The Capital. Tis ages since we've been and you can't beat a decent curry.

I was feeling in the Christmas mood yesterday after accidently on purpose wandering through the John Lewis Chirstmas department.

Hello everypne. Oooh, just having a good look at the site for the first time in a year. Can I come too?!! Have just moved house near Durham and there is so much to do that getting out of the house is an enticing prospect (if you know what I mean...)

spiffysquiffyspiggy · 19/10/2012 10:14

Hello goldenretriever Smile of course you can come- the more the merrier!

We do general cake based meet ups fairly regularly over here so you will have plenty of reasons to get out of the house. Grin

Indith · 19/10/2012 13:32

Hello goldenretriever, of course you can come! We like newbies.

So down to 17th Nov or 1st Dec.

I can do the 1/12 but not 17/11 (singing in t'cathedral ... assuming my lung capacity isn't too compressed by then! I'm starting to get breathless during lectures already!)

Indith · 20/10/2012 20:27

So does that bring us to the 1st Dec then?

Bumpy bump. Who else wants to come? Come on you lot!

OP posts:
juneybean · 21/10/2012 17:31

I definitely can't do 17th, but will get back to you about 1st (haven't got hours yet)

Indith · 21/10/2012 19:10

Fingers crossed juney, not seen you in ages!

VikingLady · 21/10/2012 21:52

I may be able to come, depending on whether I can induce V to accept dh putting her to bed/feeding her. When do i need to be able to confirm?

BrittaPerry · 21/10/2012 21:55

Can I come? I haven't been to a meet up for AGES.

(I was Butter Pie)

Indith · 22/10/2012 08:06

Viking I don't know really, we always end up being terribly last minute and then struggling to find a restaurant Grin. Shall attempt to be better organised this time. One or 2 changes at the last min won't matter though, there is always someone drop out due to lack of babysitter or child being ill or something.

Hello stranger :)

So

Indith

Britta

Possible Viking and juney.

I had an awful day and have just downed a glass of wine, I really hope I can make the night out, muchly needed!

Indith · 26/10/2012 13:13

Christmassy bump!

Contraversial location suggestion perhaps, but what about afternoon tea and pitta and dips (or that antipasti type platter) at Ebonys in the 4-7pm range rather than ebonys and then dinner elsewhere.

Not that I can enjoy the lubbly cocktails, but I never get to sit relax after work at Ebonys anymore and an excuse to get there without T when it's not packed and noisy would be pretty cool.

Indith · 26/10/2012 16:06

Sounds lovely. Trouble is that would mean being out at bedtime feed time which is a no no!

OP posts:
juneybean · 26/10/2012 16:36

Ooo I'd be up for that sometime though!

Indith · 26/10/2012 16:47

Definitely, when are you due again Leggy? We'll have to try to find a gap between babies when none of us has to be there for bed time! I'm aiming to not have ot be by the end of Jan I reckon so I don't end up in a mad panic once I'm at uni.

LeggyBlondeNE · 27/10/2012 21:38

Due at start of Feb.

Iguess it would only work as an afternoon thing then? So what are preferences for dinner out?

Indith · 02/11/2012 15:45

Bump bump bump bump bump!

OP posts:
juneybean · 02/11/2012 16:10

I can't do 1st either

Indith · 02/11/2012 16:53

:(

Indith · 03/11/2012 16:44

Now look here! Who else is going to come out?

Go and bully people! Where is sticky? Where is Frozen? who hid the polar bear? (well ok I saw her this morning but I forgot so maybe that's my fault). Come on roll up for an evening of cocktails and yummy food (probably curry)

thank you Juney for finding me here and Indith for (all) the messages Wink Would love to meet up! 8pm + for me is better. Are we decided on 1st (which is fine for me but I see not for everyone)?

Oh yeah I'm with indith on the Capital. I can always eat more curry Smile

Indith · 04/11/2012 09:23

Yes the 1st. those who can't do the 1st can't do the 17th either. I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Not Viking any more - sorry. It's too hard to get home afterwards, and V is still feeding to sleep.

Argh!

Still, I might be moving closer soon, so maybe the next night out...
