Greetings from a wet and soggy Sydney! It is at least hot, but I would like it more if the sun was shining!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for the last time this Bootcamp.

I won't be around to post much, so wishing you all a very lovely, happy and merry Christmas

Xmas Grin

Hello! Thanks BIWI for the new thread - I hope you're enjoying Australia!

I've put on a (tiny) bit of weight this week, but I'm putting it down to being TOTM, as this happened last time too. Planning to really enjoy treats - chocolate! roast potatoes! - over Christmas (though I'll still avoid bread, pasta etc), and then get back to low carbing proper first week of Jan. Hope everyone's had a good last week. If anyone is around??

Hello BIWI, glad to hear you have arrived safely,I hope the rain stops soon.

Thanks for new thread, I can't seem to edit the s/sheet but have STS. I am planning to do BC Lite over Christmas so as not to undo all I have achieved over the last 9 months.

Hope the scales have been kind to you all Smile

Thanks for the new thread. The spreadsheet doesn't seem to be working though.

I am amazed to see I've lost another couple of pounds this week making my total loss this bc to 1st 2lb. One more pound off will take me under 12st for the first time in years.

I intend to keep posting on this thread over christmas until the new bc starts but I wanted to say thank you to the few all of you who have been around the last 10 weeks. It's kept me on track.

Merry Christmas everyone Thanks Xmas Grin

6.5 lb off this Bootcamp so only a couple more to go to reach my goal of 128 lb. I'm going to try very hard not to put on any weight before the January Bootcamp not like last time!

I went for a festive lunch today and did ok - I had a naked burger (ie. no bun) with a really nice salad and crispy bacon. I did have a small prosecco with it but just the one! I didn't order pudding but sneaked a few spoonfuls of lemon meringue pie from DD - not bad going for me!

what I noticed was that normally after a main course out, I really really fancy something sweet to finish. Today however I had no such craving, so I was very happy.

Dd bf has kindly given me some chocolate mints - my favourite. Perhaps I will have to do them justice but worried once I start I will eat the lot. If only I could rely on myself to stop after just one or two.[sigh]

I am trying to stay on the straight and narrow as much as I can until Saturday (working xmas day so celebrating on 26th)

However it is our annual trip to the Birmingham German market tomorrow. Foodwise they do soup, bratwurst in curry sauce, deep fried cauliflower, aubergine and courgettes. Drinkwise does anyone know how carby things like cherry wine, apple wine, raspberry wine and blueberry wine are please?

Hello all - and hope the weather improves Biwi! I have stayed the same so it's a total of 1st 2lb for me as well Wombat. Not bad for a newbie! Going to have a few treats over Xmas / chocs mince pies stuffing but no bread or potatoes as dont miss them at all!
I've learnt that a salad can be a very satisfying meal, don't need any puddings and looking forward to losing the next stone in Jan!!

Checking in to report that three days off in London has resulted in a 3lb gain Shock.

Back on it today til Christmas Day and Boxing Day, when I will relax things, then back on til New Year's Eve. Hoping I can maintain my weight pretty much apart from my London gain then get back on it from Jan 2. Will be posting regularly over the break so hoping there'll be a few of us around at least.

Enjoy Oz, BIWI, hope the weather bucks up for you.

Morning all, just checking in to report that I went out for dinner last night and had a salad to start and then mussels with a side order of buttered spinach. Didn't feel deprived at all, despite everyone else ordering fries etc. I feel in control of my eating at long last.

Congrats to all losers and hang on in there Chester, hope you had a good trip, I am sure those 3lbs will come back off.

I too will be posting over Christmas to keep me inspired and motivated Smile

Happy Christmas BIWI and everyone else on the LC thread, hope you had a great day.

I only over indulged slightly, mainly alcohol rather than food but it was all planned so I felt in control . Tried a couple of chocs, they tasted sooo sweet and a bit gooey, enjoyed a roast potato though. Drank loads and loads of water and will do so again for my second day off plan. Back on it tomorrow though as don't want to undo what I've achieved this year Smile

I had a lowish carb Christmas. Just a smidge of bread with my smoked salmon, one roast potato, some Christmas pud and lots of wine! Back on plan today with lots of leftover smoked salmon still to eat up.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I was terribly carby yesterday but I enjoyed it all and don't regret it. Started the day with a four mile run and an omelette, although out again for ouch/tea so will no doubt be carby again.

Hoping to get back on it after that til NYE, with lots of exercise thrown in to minimise the damage. Will not be getting on the scales til Jan 4 when I'm back in work so hoping a lot of the festive bloat will have gone by then.

Happy Christmas everyone! I have indulged yesterday & today, mainly alcohol (gin & slimline) & chocs - haven't had bread, potatoes or anything. Sweet things taste toooo sweet now! Will be back on strict bc tomorrow until NYE then the big push in 2016! like Sheba I do feel like I'm in control of my eating now so actually looking forward to getting back on the wagon tomorrow!!

Morning. I did BIWIs January 2013 Bootcamp - it's great to see its still going and I love reading the success stories.

I'm actually asking for help - I've been a real carby twat and feel awful - does anyone have a link to BIWIs three-day kick start? DH and I are back on the right path, but I remember the three-day uber Bootcamp being really useful. I've done an advanced search, but my carb-addled brain can't find it. Would be very, very grateful for some help in climbing back on the wagon.

Hello aseaand, I think the plan you are looking for is the uberbootcamp on BIWI's spreadsheet here

well done everyone!
I've been quite good - indulged in some chocolates which were a present but they are very dark chocolate, and I've been quite restrained. I have held back from the traditional Quality Street tub really well!

Thanks ShebaQueen that's the thing I needed. Breakfast was small handful of nuts, individual portion of marmite cheese, lunch was one boiled egg, half an avocado, some mayonnaise and veggies - feel tons better already.

Thanks Wombat good luck with getting back on track.

Feel slightly foolish and won't be telling anyone outside of this thread. Very grateful there's an active thread Grin

Hello all anyone?
Thought I'd post to keep the thread alive even though I haven't been very low carb Blush
I'm going out for a meal tomorrow and New Years day but will be back on track on the 2nd. Hard core BC.

Anyone else?
