I know there are threads flying about all over the place re; the strike, but this is purely to register support - it would be great if we could keep it going until midnight on Thursday ( 30th June )
you don't have to say anything - just smile, like this
They have my support
<disobedient>
mine too...and if any of you have any sense and use any public services you should also...

Thanks guys - I'll keep bumping this 'til Thursday night -
(( I'll bring a few bottles of
- just to keep me going ))
good luck teachers.
I think the thread would look a bit scary if we all just smiled.

They have my support
I saw in the paper yesterday quoting that netmums person saying there's 'no support for militancy from parents'. Bullshit. I'm right behind the teachers (and any others striking on Thursday).

That's not why I don't post on netmums
although it adds fuel to the fire

I support them
(although think the strike would be more effective if all the unions were striking on Thursday).
And just thought I should add , I am losing a days pay on Thursday which I can ill afford but I still think they are doing the right thing .
As a mid day supervisor I get to see a small amount of what the teachers do, and I support them 100%.

They have my support and I wrote in Ds2's home school book to tell them that (he is off school on Thursday because of the strikes).
