for my cupboard while I was away.
AKA the devils toenail clippings.

Is there any reason not to bin them?

They go well in spaghetti bolognaise.

Good when camping unless you camp next to herb gardens.
Good when self catering. Unless you have staff to do your shopping/cooking.
Good when doing that foil and fish oven baking thing.
Otherwise what a bitch MIL is.

Dried herbs are perfectly edible. What's in the mix? Sort of Mediterranean flavours?

Fairylea Sat 23-Aug-14 22:48:06

What's wrong with them? hmm

wheretoyougonow Sat 23-Aug-14 22:49:03

Herb snob.

SirChenjin Sat 23-Aug-14 22:50:01

Bin them, and go and buy your own bloody herbs.

ScrambledSmegs Sat 23-Aug-14 23:01:31

Nothing wrong with herbes de Provence. Very useful. My kids like it on pizza.

ShatnersBassoon Sat 23-Aug-14 23:05:27

Don't you lot know that dried herbs are for poor uncultured people with no taste? <sniff>

zoemaguire Sat 23-Aug-14 23:11:36

I'm a GREAT cook, a massive food snob, and I used dried mixed herbs! Don't sprinkle them on your porridge, but in a stew, why not?

LimBeeHoon Sat 23-Aug-14 23:11:58

Devils toenail? Are you not very good at cooking? They add flavour not texture.
