Why so extreme ??

What do you mean your kids would be better off with out you ??

What happened? Was it what was said on the other thread about someone worried to leave the house?

Report
FAQ · 27/05/2008 15:45

no - you weren't told what you were thought of.

You made an illinformed/badly thought out comment - and apologised

Someone else jumped in and "attacked" your for it based that comment ONLY (not sure if shes' apologised or not yet?)

It was then agreed that arguing among MN'ers was not going to help the OP

Don't go.

You made a really unhelpful and unkind comment on that thread and another poster effectively told you that you had received lots of support and that you should be far more understanding. Obviously it's your decision to go but please don't blame your decision on what was said on that thread.

Report

Well if people want to leave just leave, it's only an internet forum do we really need these threads all the time?

TWR is obviously upset by something, maybe if she just toke time out instead of starting a thread like this is might have been better.

TWR your kids are definatly not better off without you, kids need there mums more than anything in the world.

Lots of people feel shit and struggle through every day.
Some of those people dont reach out to anyone else which is sad. Some people ask for help because thay want it and others dont really want help they just want attention.

What about your Sebastian and Ethan? they are so gorgeous and you did that and they need you.
We need you here, just as much as you need us. Please come back.

Those who don't want to support should leave this thread. No matter what's gone before, if someone needs attention, it's usually for good reason.

some nice helpful people i see today.

TWR - You responded insensitively to the post, presumably in ignorance. One person then made a generalisation about you, but others simply tried to point out the background to the situation. There is no need to over-react by leaving MN if you normally find it a useful place to be.

Kassius........the OP has asked for help because she needed it plenty of times before if this was in chat I may think differently but it's not in Chat.....

cheesesarnie · 27/05/2008 15:55

riight i see! so someone posts in mental health and you accuse them of attention seeking.lovely

Report

Not everyone knows everything about everyone else - TWR possibly didn't know the extent of and reasons behind IWNLTBM's anxiety and spoke her mind. Without knowing the past, such comments are "harsh" but not completely OTT - but it's done now, and she's apologised.

I don't think calling someone in the MH section attention seeking is a wise move either - I doubt there'll be gracious apologies though

Don't go, WR; stay... or at least let me know you're ok on MSN ok?
